Abstract: The invention relates to a gasketed heat exchanger comprising a plurality of heat exchanger plates, wherein each of the heat exchanger plates comprises a plurality of dimples. The dimples comprise tops and bottoms. Furthermore, the tops of at least one heat exchanger plate are connected to the bottoms of another neighboring heat exchanger plate. In order to prevent plastic deformations of the heat exchanger plates under external forces and internal fluid pressures the dimples are elastically deformable.
