Abstract: A backlight module is configured to illuminate at least one key cap. The backlight module includes a light emitting unit, a light guide plate and a lighting board. The light guide plate has a light guide hole for accommodating the light emitting unit. The lighting board has a pair of pads connected to the light emitting unit respectively. The lighting board includes a first reflective layer surrounding the light emitting unit and at least partially covering the pair of pads. Each of the pair of pads has a plurality of branches and at least one hollow area. The at least one hollow area overlaps with at least one part of the light emitting unit.

Abstract: A lighting keyboard includes a backlight module and two rows of keyswitches. The backlight module includes a lighting board and a shielding sheet. The lighting board includes plural illuminants aligned into two rows to correspond to the two rows of keyswitches. The shielding sheet includes plural first outlet windows and plural first block patterns disposed within the first outlet windows respectively and form a first row pattern collectively. Each of the first block patterns respectively corresponds to one of the illuminant. The shielding sheet includes at least one second outlet window and plural second block patterns respectively disposed within the at least one second outlet window and formed a second row pattern collectively. Each of the plural second block patterns respectively correspond to one of the plural illuminants. A first window length of the entire contour of the plural first outlet windows is as long as a second window length of the at least one second outlet window. And the first row pattern is not identical to the second row pattern, thereby providing consistent contour halos for the two rows of keyswitches.

Abstract: A backlight module includes a lighting board, a light guide panel, a shielding sheet, and a protrusion structure. The lighting board includes two non-intersected traces, a plurality of microstructure regions and at least one illuminant unit. The illuminant unit is connected between the microstructure regions. The microstructure regions do not overlap with the two non-intersected traces. The light guide panel is disposed above the lighting board, and the shielding sheet is disposed above the light guide panel. The protrusion structure is formed on the shielding sheet, protrudes towards the lighting board, and is between the microstructure regions. The protrusion structure diffuses light of the illuminant unit at an early section of its light path to enter into the light guide panel for lateral transmission. The plural microstructure regions reflect and recycle the light at a following section of the light path to jointly enhance the uniformity of illuminating a keycap.

Abstract: A backlight keyswitch includes a keyswitch body, a board connected to the keyswitch body, a backlight module and a membrane disposed between the keyswitch body and the board. The backlight module is disposed under the board and includes a backlight circuit board, a light-blocking sheet, a first reflecting ink layer, and a light guide plate disposed between the light-blocking sheet and the backlight circuit board. The first reflecting ink layer is formed on the light-blocking sheet and located above the backlight circuit board, for at least partially reflecting light emitted by the backlight circuit board back to an optical microstructure in the light guide plate to prevent center symbols of the keyswitch body from being too bright, such that light can be incident to the keyswitch body via scattering of the optical microstructure to increase brightness of side symbols of the keyswitch body.

Abstract: A backlight apparatus includes a light-guiding plate, a light-shielding membrane, a light-reflecting sheet, a plurality of first translucent glue bodies, and a plurality of second translucent glue bodies. The light-guiding plate has a plurality of through holes. Each of the first translucent glue bodies corresponds to one of the through holes. Each first translucent glue body is placed on a front surface of the light-guiding plate, and surrounds a respective circumference of the corresponding through hole to bond the light-shielding membrane thereabove and the light-guiding plate therebelow. Each first translucent glue body has a respective breach. Each of the second translucent glue bodies corresponds to one of the first translucent glue bodies, is placed via at least one portion thereof in the breach of the corresponding first translucent glue body, and bonds the light-shielding membrane thereabove and the light-guiding plate therebelow.
