    Abstract: A connector module (100) includes a base (1) including a front face (101), a rear face (102) opposite to the front face, a top face (103) connecting the front face and the rear face, and a mounting slot (104) extending through the front face and the rear face; a first connector assembly (2) mounted on the base; a second connector assembly (3) mounted on the base through the mounting slot along a rear to front direction, and extending beyond the front face for being mated with a mating connector; and a block member (4) mounted on the base with a portion projected into the mounting slot to block a rear end of the second connector assembly to prevent the second connector assembly from withdrawing from the base.

    Abstract: A cable connector assembly includes a connector, a printed circuit board having a rear portion, a cable connected to the rear portion, a strain relief having a main portion, a shell having a front wall and a rear wall, an outer case enclosing the shell and having a front end face and a rear end face, wherein the main portion is disposed between the rear wall and the rear end face, and the main portion comprises at least one through hole. A method of assembling a cable connector assembly, the cable connector assembly including a connector, a printed circuit board, and a cable, the method comprising the steps of: over-molding a strain relief with the cable to have a main portion defining at least one through hole; disposing the printed circuit board in a shell; and mounting an outer case forwardly over the shell to press the strain relief.

    Abstract: A cable connector assembly includes a plug portion, a cable electrically connected with the plug portion and an insulative shell covering a part of the plug portion and the cable. The plug portion defines an insulative housing and a plurality of conductive terminals received in the insulative housing and arranged in two rows spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction, the conductive terminals including a plurality of detecting terminals, a plurality of signal terminals and a plurality of first terminals. The cable has a plurality of core wires. The plug portion further includes a connecting member for the first terminals shorted, the connecting member makes the first terminals shorted together so as to the first terminals are just soldered with a core wire of the cable.

    Abstract: A plug connector assembly for mating with a complementary connector includes a printed circuit board (PCB) defining a plurality of conductive pads, a pair of metal members mounted on two sides of the PCB and soldered with the PCB for electrically connecting with the complementary connector, an inserting member electrically connected on a front end of the PCB to connect to the complementary connector, and a housing enclosing the PCB. The PCB includes a front portion, an opposite rear portion, and a middle portion connecting the front portion and the rear portion. The conductive pads include a plurality of first pads disposed on the front portion. The inserting member includes an insulative member and a plurality of terminals held on the insulative member. The terminals are soldered with corresponding first pads.

    Abstract: A plug connector includes an insulative housing, a locking member located at an upper end of the insulative housing, and a pulling tape connected with the locking member, wherein the insulative housing includes an insertion member for the pulling tape to pass through, the pull tape includes a horizontal portion connected with the locking member, a handle portion for manual pulling, and a vertical portion located between the horizontal portion and the handle portion, and the handle portion is operable to pull horizontally backwards to move the locking member downwards to unlock the plug connector from a socket connector.
