Abstract:
A teat cup cleaning device having a heating chamber (2), provided with a discharge (3) which is closable by a valve (4), and arranged for connection to a teat cup. A filling device (20) is provided for filling the heating chamber (2) with an amount of cleaning liquid (11), and a heating arrangement is arranged to heat the contents of the heating chamber (2) to a temperature T higher than the boiling point Tk of the cleaning liquid at ambient pressure. The valve (4) opens in this situation to deliver the heated cleaning liquid to the teat cup. The teat cup cleaning device also comprising a connecting line (17) between a liquid supply and the discharge.
Abstract:
A device for milking a dairy animal, comprising a teat cup with a teat liner and a disinfection device for disinfecting at any rate at least a part of the teat liner by means of a disinfecting fluid. The disinfection device comprises a heating device for heating the disinfecting fluid, and the disinfection device is suitable for bringing the disinfecting fluid into contact with at any rate at least a part of the teat liner. A control unit is suitable for controlling the disinfection device. The heating device is suitable for heating the disinfecting fluid to such a temperature that the disinfecting fluid has a temperature of at least approximately 95° C. when it is in contact with the teat liner. The control unit is suitable for registering values of at least one control parameter of the disinfection device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a conduit for transferring milk. The conduit is provided with at least one flexible wall, which divides the conduit into at least one milk duct and at least one secondary duct. The milk duct and the at least one secondary duct extend along a longitudinal axis of the conduit, it being possible for the at least one milk duct to be substantially emptied by pressing through filling the at least one secondary duct.

Abstract:
Closing device assembly for systems for milking animals, provided with at least one primary passage and at least two secondary passages, wherein the primary and secondary passages are provided with first and second connecting edges, respectively, with respective openings each having an axis, further provided with at least one closing device for at least one unused, non-selected secondary passage, which closing device is provided with a closing edge, wherein of each set of connecting edges and closing edges to be connected to each other in each case at least one is provided with a seal, wherein the closing device assembly further comprises a first drive unit for mutual displacement of the first connecting edge and the second connecting edge of a selected secondary passage from an uncoupled position in which the axes of their openings are not in line with each other to a position in which the axes of their openings are in line, a coupling line, with each other, and a second drive unit for bringing said connecting edges against each other.
Abstract:
A teat cup cleaning device comprises a heating chamber provided with a discharge outlet that is closable by a valve and arranged for connection to a teat cup. A filling device is arranged for filling the heating chamber with an amount of cleaning liquid and retaining a given quantity of gas. The chamber is provided with a heating arrangement arranged to heat the contents of the heating chamber to a temperature T higher than the boiling point Tk of the cleaning liquid at ambient pressure. On operation of the valve superheated cleaning liquid is discharged to clean a teat cup.
Abstract:
A milk pump device, comprising a passage duct, a first one-way valve, a second one-way valve and a membrane pump. The first and second one-way valves are included in the passage duct and oriented in the same direction relative to each other. The membrane pump is positioned between the first one-way valve and the second one-way valve. The membrane pump forms a first milk meter for generating a first milk measurement with respect to a number of complete pumping strokes of the membrane pump. The milk pump device further comprises a second milk meter for carrying out a second milk measurement with respect to a residual pumping stroke.
Abstract:
A valve provided with a passage for conveying a medium, the passage having at least a first closable aperture, and with a closing device that is suitable for closing at least the first aperture. The valve is provided with a holder element that is movably included in a holder element house chamber of the holder element house. The closing device is capable of being supported by the holder element or forms an integrated part of the holder element, and the closing device is controllable by the medium. The holder element is controllable, only by the medium, for releasing at least the first aperture by means of the closing device.
Abstract:
A method of milking a dairy animal and cleaning at least a part of a milking implement for milking the dairy animal, the milking implement comprising: at least one teat cup; a foremilk storage volume that is designed to contain an amount of fluid; a connection between the at least one teat cup and the foremilk storage volume, wherein the at least one teat cup is attached to a teat of the dairy animal to be milked, foremilk is withdrawn and an amount of the withdrawn foremilk is collected in the foremilk storage volume and wherein the amount of foremilk is released in such a way that the foremilk is displaceable from the foremilk storage volume by means of a vacuum.
