    Abstract: The laser module includes a QCL element, a MEMS diffraction grating, a lens holder for holding a lens disposed between the QCL element and the MEMS diffraction grating, and a package. The package includes a bottom wall, a side wall erected on the bottom wall and formed in an annular shape so as to surround a region in which the QCL element is accommodated, and a top wall closing an opening of the side wall on a side opposite to a side where the bottom wall is disposed. The top wall faces the bottom wall in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis direction of the lens, and the distance between the top wall and a surface of the lens holder on a side where the top wall is disposed is smaller than a thickness of the lens holder along the optical axis direction of the lens.

    Abstract: A laser module according to an embodiment includes a QCL element, a diffraction grating portion configured to diffract and reflect first light emitted from a first end face of the QCL element and return second light to the first end face, and a first portion configured to be disposed between the first end face and the diffraction grating portion, allow the first light and the second light to pass therethrough, and collimate the first light. When viewed from a Y-axis direction, the diffraction grating portion is inclined with respect to a Z-axis direction. A position of a beam waist of the first light collimated by the first portion in an X-axis direction is located between a position of one end of the diffraction grating portion in the Z-axis direction and a position of the other end of the diffraction grating portion in the Z-axis direction.

    Abstract: Organic photoelectric conversion element has a first electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer, and a second electrode. The photoelectric conversion layer has a first organic layer that contains a first organic semiconductor containing principally a p-type organic semiconductor, a second organic layer that contains a second organic semiconductor containing principally an n-type organic semiconductor, and an intermediate layer that contains the first organic semiconductor and the second organic semiconductor. The second organic layer is disposed at a side of the second electrode relative to the first organic layer. The intermediate layer is between the first organic layer and the second organic layer and reaches each of these layers. The thickness of the second organic layer is greater than the sum of the thicknesses of the first organic layer and intermediate layer.

The lens member includes a first portion configured to constitute a collimator lens collimating the first light, and a second portion configured to be connected to an outer edge portion of the first portion and not to constitute the collimator lens when viewed from an X-axis direction.
