    Abstract: In an example, a radio module includes a first antenna port connected to a first transceiver, a second antenna port connected to a second transceiver, a third antenna port connected to a third transceiver, and a fourth antenna port connected to a fourth transceiver. The first antenna port and the second antenna port include a first switch type radio frequency connector and a second switch type radio frequency connector, respectively. The third antenna port and the fourth antenna port include a first receptacle type radio frequency connector and a second receptacle type radio frequency connector, respectively. A processor is connected to the first transceiver, the second transceiver, the third transceiver, and the fourth transceiver.

    Abstract: Examples of an integrated slot antenna are described. The integrated slot antenna comprises a first slot, a second slot and a separating member. The first slot is an open-ended slot and is coupled to a first antenna member to form a first slot antenna. The first slot antenna operates in a first predetermined range of frequencies. The second slot is a close-ended slot and is separated from the first slot by the separating member.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a compact antenna system within a dielectric housing of an electronic device, capable of achieving improved reflection performance. The antenna system includes a ground plane and an antenna PCB. An antenna microstrip feed on a side of the antenna PCB comprises a first part of a radiating antenna element. The antenna PCB is connected to the ground plane by a central conductor of a coaxial cable which forms a ground path. An outer conductor of the coaxial cable carries RF signals to the antenna PCB, allowing the RF signals to freely radiate along a length of the coaxial cable and acting as a second part of the radiating antenna element. The coaxial cable does not interfere with, and can even enhance a radiation pattern of the antenna microstrip feed.

    Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to a dual band antenna in a mobile device having a peripheral conductive member. In one example, the dual band antenna includes a multilayer PCB having a first antenna feed trace, a second antenna feed trace, a ground trace, and a connecting trace disposed on a dielectric substrate. The connecting trace may couple the first antenna feed trace, the second antenna feed trace, and the ground trace. Further, the dual band antenna includes a connecting element to couple to the connecting trace with the peripheral conductive member to form an integrated resonant element.

    Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, an electronic device is described. An example electronic device includes an antenna. The example antenna includes a feed point and a first radiator coupled to the feed point. The example antenna also includes a switch coupled to the first radiator and a second radiator coupled to the switch. The example switch (1) disconnects the first radiator from the second radiator when the electronic device is in a first mode; and (2) connects the first radiator to the second radiator when the electronic device is in a second mode.

The electronic component is coupled to the electronic device via a connection interface and a connector. The electronic device further comprises a contact detection assembly. The contact detection assembly detects a position of the connector relative to a connection interface. Based on the position of the connector relative to the connection interface, a state of connection between the connector and the connection interface is determined.
