    Abstract: This application provides a method for processing a change in a radio capability of a terminal apparatus and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by an access network apparatus, indication information, where the access network apparatus stores radio capability information of a terminal apparatus, and the indication information is used to indicate that a radio capability of the terminal apparatus changes, or is used to request a current radio capability of the terminal apparatus from the access network apparatus; and obtaining, by the access network apparatus, radio capability information of the terminal apparatus according to the indication information. According to this application, communication efficiency of a radio control resource connection performed when a radio capability of the UE changes in a suspend state can be improved.

    Abstract: This application provides a method and an apparatus for determining an air interface latency and relates to the field of communications technologies. In the method, an access network device obtains an air interface latency of a downlink data packet and schedules the downlink data packet based on the air interface latency of the downlink data packet. The air interface latency of the downlink data packet is calculated based on a round-trip latency, and the round-trip latency is a latency from when a terminal sends an uplink data packet to when the terminal receives the downlink data packet corresponding to the uplink data packet. In the method, the access network device may schedule the downlink data packet based on the air interface latency of the downlink data packet, so as to precisely control a latency in uplink and downlink data transmission.

    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for managing a mobility pattern of a terminal are disclosed, to flexibly configure and manage a mobility pattern of a terminal based on an actual application scenario of the terminal, and optimize network performance. The method is: obtaining, by a control plane function (CPF) entity, mobility pattern related information of a terminal; determining, by the CPF entity, a first mobility pattern of the terminal based on the mobility pattern related information of the terminal; and sending, by the CPF entity, the determined first mobility pattern to a radio access network (RAN) node, where the first mobility pattern is used by the RAN node to determine a second mobility pattern of the terminal.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method, an apparatus, and a system for data transmission. The method includes: broadcasting, by a relay device, a first message, where the first message is used to indicate that the relay device supports data forwarding; receiving, by the relay device, a second message from a remote device, where the second message includes data of the remote device; and sending, by the relay device, the data to a core network device based on the second message. In the present method, after receiving the first message broadcast by the relay device, the remote device directly sends the data of the remote device to the relay device without establishing a connection dedicated for transmitting the data of the remote device between the remote device and the relay device, thereby reducing signaling and reducing power consumption of the remote device.

    Abstract: A communication method, including, when a terminal device is in an idle mode or an inactive mode, a first control plane functional entity that obtains access network information of the terminal device and sends context information of the terminal device to an access network device corresponding to the access network information. Therefore, when the terminal device is in the idle mode or the inactive mode, the first control plane functional entity obtains the access network information of the terminal device and pre-sends the context information of the terminal device to the access network device corresponding to the access network information. When the terminal device needs to transmit data, the terminal device does not need to wait for the process of transmitting the context information of the terminal device, thereby facilitating reducing a delay.

    Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided to improve a power saving effect of the terminal device and service experience. After obtaining traffic characteristic information of a service, an access network device determines power saving configuration information based on the traffic characteristic information, and then sends the power saving configuration information to the terminal device. The power saving configuration information is used to determine that the terminal device is in an active state or a sleep state when the service is performed. In this way, the access network device can sense the traffic characteristic information of the service, to determine the power saving configuration information matching the service, and to improve the power saving effect of the terminal device and the service experience.
