Abstract:
A method is proposed for detecting a disconnection of a main connector of an electronic payment terminal. The method includes detecting a break in a connection control loop between a central control unit, housed in the terminal, and the main connector. In the event of a positive detection of a break, configuring the terminal in a blocked state.
Abstract:
A system for securing a magnetic card reader, including a surface-mounted magnetic reader head, via at least one mounting end, on a flexible printed circuit. The flexible printed circuit includes: at least one first layer for transporting analogue signals of the magnetic reader head; at least one layer having a plurality of tracks connected to the ground, called ground layer, covering the analogue signals of the first layer; and at least one dynamic security layer covering the ground layer.

Abstract:
An electronic payment terminal includes a light guide to guide the light from at least one light source internal to the electronic payment terminal to the exterior of the electronic payment terminal. The light guide is integrated with a contactless payment module integrated with the electronic payment terminal and additionally includes at least one shock-absorbing pad extending beyond the external surface of the electronic payment terminal.
