    Abstract: A leak detector includes a leak sensor. The leak sensor includes a bottom ground plane, a porous bottom dielectric substrate arranged on the bottom ground plane, a conductor arranged on the porous bottom substrate, a top dielectric substrate arranged on the conductor, and a top ground plane arranged on the top dielectric substrate. The leak detector also includes readout circuitry electrically coupled to the conductor. The readout circuitry is configured to measure a change in electrical properties in at least the porous bottom dielectric substrate.

    Abstract: Various examples are provided for stretchable antennas that can be used for applications such as wearable electronics. In one example, a stretchable antenna includes a flexible support structure including a lateral spring section having a proximal end and at a distal end; a metallic antenna disposed on at least a portion of the lateral spring section, the metallic antenna extending along the lateral spring section from the proximal end; and a metallic feed coupled to the metallic antenna at the proximal end of the lateral spring section. In another example, a method includes patterning a polymer layer disposed on a substrate to define a lateral spring section; disposing a metal layer on at least a portion of the lateral spring section, the metal layer forming an antenna extending along the portion of the lateral spring section; and releasing the polymer layer and the metal layer from the substrate.

    Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for flexible, low-cost tracking devices capable of seamless indoor and outdoor tracking transitions. A tracking device may comprise, for example, circuitry combined with one or more transceivers on a flexible substrate. At least a portion of the circuitry may be printed using a conductive medium, such as nanoparticle ink. The tracking device may be configured to localize the tracking device via GPS or an alternative localization strategy based on a determination of whether GPS communication is available.
