When the piece of management department data of the target manager data is restriction data corresponding to a particular department, a processor executes a second data editing process to edit particular user data that is a part of the plurality of pieces of individual user data. The particular user data is one of the plurality of pieces of individual user data that includes a piece of belonging department data that indicates a department that has a predetermined correspondence relation with the particular department that corresponds to the piece of management department data of the target manager data.

Abstract: In an image forming apparatus: a report reading portion reads image data of a print report that has already been printed; a memory stores report data of a current time point; a format determining portion determines whether or not the read print report and the report data match in format; a change search portion, when the print report and the report data match in format, determines whether or not changed information is included in the report data by comparing the report data with the print report for each item, the changed information being information that has been changed from corresponding information in the print report; and a change output portion, when the changed information is included in the report data, re-prints the changed information in a vicinity of pre-change information on the print report, the pre-change information corresponding to the changed information.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes an attachment portion, a log-in processing portion, a correlation processing portion, and a restriction processing portion. To the attachment portion, a storage device is attached in a detachable manner. The log-in processing portion authorizes a user to log in based on a predetermined authentication operation. The correlation processing portion correlates the storage device attached to the attachment portion with a user who has already logged in when the storage device is attached to the attachment portion, or with a user who first logs in after the storage device is attached to the attachment portion and kept to be attached. The restriction processing portion restricts access to the storage device attached to the attachment portion, to the user who is correlated with the storage device by the correlation processing portion.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a setting unit, a storage unit, an operation display unit, and a setting-change-information transmitting unit. The storage unit stores a shared-setting list as a shared-setting target. The operation display unit accepts a shared-setting input and a setting-change input.
