Abstract:
A salometer and flow rate sensor assembly for a water softener system including a brine tank containing a brine solution including at least one sensor housing provided in the brine tank, a first detector set associated with the housing and configured for indicating whether the brine solution is adequately concentrated and a second detector set associated with the housing and configured for measuring the brine solution flow rate during brine draw and refill cycles of regeneration.
Abstract:
A system for applying a stamp to packs within a carton includes a conveyor system including a plurality of spring arms and a ceiling plate positioned above the spring arms. The system also includes a carton opening system positioned at a first station along the conveyer system, a pack stamping system positioned at a second station along the conveyer system, and a carton closing system positioned at a third station along the conveyor system; wherein the spring arms bias the cartons against the ceiling plate to position the packs at a predetermined distance form the carton opening system, pack stamping system and carton closing system. A method for applying a stamp to packs within a carton includes biasing the carton along a conveyor system, and positioning the packs within the carton at a predetermined location from operation stations based on the biasing.
Abstract:
A grey water treatment system for use in conjunction with a water softener, including a grey water holding tank including a first inlet configured to receive grey water and a second inlet configured to receive spent brine from the water softener. The spent brine is mixed with the grey water in the holding tank to flocculate suspended solids in the grey water for subsequent removal.
Abstract:
A sensor assembly for a water softening system and includes a first treatment tank having a first valve assembly, a first flow meter and a sensor probe, a second treatment tank having a second valve assembly and a second flow meter and a brine tank independently connected to each of the first treatment tank and the second treatment tank. A controller is configured for communicating with the sensor probe and the first flow meter in the first treatment tank, and the second flow meter in the second treatment tank.
Abstract:
A control valve assembly for a fluid treatment system including a valve housing defining a plurality of compartments and a piston assembly associated with each of the compartments. Each of the piston assemblies is configured to be independently movable in each of the compartments. The control valve assembly also includes a gearbox that is associated with the housing and includes a plurality of cams driven by a motor, where each of the cams is configured to drive a corresponding one of the piston assemblies.
Abstract:
A system for applying a stamp to packs within a carton includes a conveyor drum system including a plurality of clamps and a floor plate positioned adjacent the clamps. The system further includes a carton opening system positioned at a first station along the conveyor drum system, a pack stamping system positioned at a second station along the conveyor drum system, and a carton closing system positioned at a third station along the conveyor drum system. The clamps are opened to receive at least one carton and the floor plate moves upward to position the packs at a predetermined operating distance and wherein the clamps are closed to hold the carton at the predetermined operating distance while the carton is rotated through the carton opening system, pack opening system and carton closing system.
Abstract:
A needle-less injection system that uses an ampule with an elongated hollow body. The elongated hollow body including a nozzle and an aperture for accepting a plunger, the aperture for accepting a plunger extends from the second end towards the first end and is in fluid communication with the nozzle. The ampule cooperates with a generally cylindrical plunger. The plunger includes a first end and a second end, and a concave rib. The concave rib is extends about the perimeter of the plunger and extends towards the first end of the plunger.
Abstract:
A separator system includes a conveyance assembly and one or more blocking components. The conveyance assembly moves a leading group of product and a trailing group of product along a feed direction toward a packaging system to separately package the leading group of product into a first container and the trailing group of product into a second container. The one or more blocking components are disposed upstream of the packaging system along the feed direction. The one or more blocking components stop movement of the trailing group of product upstream of the packaging system along the feed direction while allowing the leading group of product to move toward the packaging system.
Abstract:
An electronic bypass system for a water softener having a raw water inlet and a bypass outlet, having a valve assembly associated with the water softener including at least one piston and a controller in communication with the at least one piston. The at least one piston is configured for automatically controlling water flow in a conduit between the raw water inlet and the bypass outlet in response to a signal sent from the controller.
Abstract:
A system for applying a stamp to packs within a carton includes a conveyor system and a stamping system positioned along the conveyor system. The stamping system includes a stamp cartridge and a stamp applicator positioned adjacent the stamp cartridge. The cartridge dispenses stamps and the applicator applies the dispensed stamps to the packs. A method for applying a stamp to packs within a carton includes advancing at least one carton having a plurality of packs to a stamping station, dispensing stamps from a stamp cartridge positioned at the stamping station, and applying the dispensed stamps to the packs.
