Abstract: A connector assembly includes an inlet assembly and a plug assembly. The inlet assembly has a first electrical contact member. A plug assembly has a second electrical contact member. The plug assembly is movable to an inserted engaged position with the inlet assembly such that the first and second electrical contact members engage one another, and a retracted position such the plug assembly is retracted from the inlet assembly. The connector assembly includes an active locking device for retaining the plug assembly in the inlet assembly. A secondary locking device temporarily retains the plug assembly in the inlet assembly prior to activation of the active locking device.

A first retainer is provided on the terminal housing portion and is sized to be retained within a handle housing outlet end. At least one socket extends from the receptacle housing portion forward of the handle housing outlet end. A plurality of conductive terminals is oriented within the at least one socket. A cord extends through a proximal end of the electrical components housing portion through a retaining feature and seal, in electrical communication with the plurality of conductive terminals on the outlet end within the terminal housing portion.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a first housing. A second housing is moveable relative to the first housing. The electrical connector includes a lever mounted on the first housing for relative rotational movement. The lever may move between a pre-stage position and a final position. The lever engages the second housing to move the second housing linearly between a pre-stage position and a seated position relative to the first housing. The electrical connector includes a pre-lock that retains the lever in the pre-stage position relative to the first housing. A pre-lock release on the second housing releases the pre-lock when the second housing is in the pre-stage position relative to the first housing. Releasing the pre-lock allows movement of the lever relative to the first housing.
