    Abstract: The disclosure relates to an optical system for an augmented reality apparatus, comprising: an image projection source; and a polarizing beam splitter. The polarizing beam splitter has a beam splitting side adjacent to the image projection source and a transmission side facing away from the image projection source. The polarizing beam splitter is arranged such that light emitted from the image projection source is able to be non-perpendicularly incident on the beam splitting side and be at least partially reflected. The polarizing beam splitter is configured such that when light is incident on the beam splitting side, a polarized light component passes through the polarizing beam splitter and is transmitted through the transmission side thereof, and a polarized light component is reflected from the beam splitting side. The optical system also comprises a polarizer disposed between the image projection source and the beam splitting side of the polarizing beam splitter.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for unlocking a head-mounted display device based on gaze point information. The method includes: acquiring gaze point information of a user who wears a locked head-mounted display device; generating unlocking information according to the gaze point information; performing a matching operation on the unlocking information and a pre-stored unlocking key; and unlocking the head-mounted display device when the unlocking information matches the unlocking key. With this method, convenience and safety of the unlocking operation may be improved, and user's experience may be enhanced.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to method and apparatus for waking up a wearable device. The method includes: determining, based on a detected voice signal, whether the voice signal is from a wearer of the wearable device; determining, based on the voice signal, whether the voice signal belongs to a conversation between the wearer and the wearable device with a speech classification model; and waking up the wearable device when the voice signal is from the wearer and the voice signal belongs to the conversation between the wearer and the wearable device. The method and apparatus can wake up the wearable device during a normal interaction process between the wearer and the wearable device by using the method and apparatus, thereby realizing a natural wake-up process and improving the user experience of the wearable device.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to an augmented reality apparatus and an optical system therefor. The optical system comprises an image source; a beam splitter component having a beam splitting side adjacent to the image source and a transmission side facing away from the image source; a wave plate adjacent to the beam splitting side, the beam splitter component being arranged in such a way that light emitted from the image source is able to be non-perpendicularly incident on the beam splitting side and at least partially reflected toward the wave plate; and a semi-reflector located downstream of the wave plate in an optical path of the reflected light, wherein the beam splitter component is configured in such a way that when the light emitted from the image source is incident on the beam splitting side, a polarized light component, whose polarization is in a first direction, passes through the beam splitter component to be transmitted through the transmission side, and a polarized light component, whose polarization is in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, is reflected by the beam splitting side toward the wave plate, and wherein the beam splitter component is also configured in such a way that when light is incident on the transmission side, a polarized light component of the light polarized in the first direction is able to pass through the beam splitter component to be transmitted through the beam splitting side, and a polarized light component of the light polarized in the second direction is able to be absorbed in the beam splitter component, wherein the wave plate is preferably a quarter-wave plate. Using the inventive technical means, influence of unwanted light on the image quality can be eliminated and in the meanwhile influence of stray light can be eliminated.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a head-mounted augmented reality (AR) apparatus, including: a head gear for being worn on a user's head; an optical module configured to provide AR display, connected to the head gear, and movable relative to the head gear; and a limit mechanism acting between the head gear and the optical module to enable the optical module to be selectively lockable in a first position or a second position relative to the head gear, in which in the first position the user when wearing the head gear is able to observe the outside scenery only through the optical module, and in the second position the user when wearing the head gear is able to observe the outside scenery completely not through the optical module. The present application also discloses a pair of AR eyeglasses similarly configured and an AR device for installation on the eyeglasses.     Abstract: The application provides an augmented reality display device comprising a projection source module and an optical path module, the projection source module comprising a projection source (12) and a beam shaping element (14) which are integrated into a unitary piece, and the optical path module comprising a beamsplitter (20) and a reflector (60), wherein virtual image light (VL) emitted from the projection source (12) and carrying virtual image information is emitted out of the projection source module after being shaped by the beam shaping element (14), projected onto the beamsplitter (20) first, then reflected onto the reflector (60) by the beamsplitter (20), then reflected by the reflector (60), and enters a human eye (E) eventually, and scene light (AL) carrying real scene information enters the reflector (60) from an outside of the reflector (60), and is transmitted through the reflector (60) and the beamsplitter (20) into the human eye (E). The application also provides a wearable augmented reality system comprising the augmented reality display device and the projection source module for the augmented reality display device.
