Abstract: An electric pump includes a housing that includes a gear chamber, a rotor chamber, and a motor chamber. The electric pump includes a first seal member, a second seal member, and a third seal member. The first seal member seals a space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber. The second seal member seals the space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber. The third seal member seals a space between the gear chamber and the motor chamber. The third seal member seals the space between the gear chamber and the motor chamber to a lesser extent than the first seal member and the second seal member seal the space between the gear chamber and the rotor chamber.

Abstract: A seal ring includes, on a side of a sliding surface thereof, a groove part (120) having a first groove (121) extending in a circumferential direction thereof and a second groove (122) extending from a central position of the first groove (121) in the circumferential direction to an inner peripheral surface and guiding sealed fluid into the first groove (121), the first groove (121) having dynamic pressure generation grooves (121a) configured to have a groove bottom made shallower at an end thereof in the circumferential direction than at a center thereof in the circumferential direction, and a foreign matter catching groove (121b) that has a groove bottom deeper than the groove bottoms of the dynamic pressure generation grooves (121a) and is capable of catching foreign matter, and the first groove (121) being provided at a position that falls within a sliding region in which the seal ring slides on the lateral wall surface.

Abstract: A sealing apparatus sealing a gap between two members mutually relatively rotatable about an axis in an internal combustion engine, the sealing apparatus comprises an elastic body portion. The elastic body portion is an elastic body including an annular attaching portion attached to one of the two members and centered about the axis, and a seal portion in close contact with another of the two members in a manner in which the other of the two members is slidable. The seal portion includes an annular seal lip portion centered about the axis and an annular dust lip centered about the axis on an atmospheric side on an opposite side of a sealed fluid side with respect to the seal lip portion. The seal lip portion includes a lip tip portion which is an annular projecting body projecting toward the axis and grease is applied to the seal lip portion. The grease contains at least one of a synthetic hydrocarbon oil and a mineral oil as a base oil and has a low temperature starting torque of 25 N·cm or less at −30° C.

Abstract: A fluororubber composition comprising 1 to 100 parts by weight of a needle-like filler or fibrous filler having an average particle diameter of 5 μm or less, an average particle length of 40 to 60 μm, and an aspect ratio of 10 to 12, based on 100 parts by weight of fluororubber. A fluororubber vulcanization-molded product obtained from the fluororubber composition has resistance against deformation due to the shape effect of the filler, and thereby can suppress the deformation of the oil seal sliding surface towards the sliding direction. More specifically, the fluororubber vulcanization-molded product can achieve less friction, while maintaining sealing properties by increasing the amount of oil pumping, from the initial use of an oil seal to after the abrasion of the oil seal.

Abstract: A seal ring capable of stably reducing a rotational torque while preventing the leakage of sealed fluid.
