Abstract: A source driver and a calibration method thereof are provided. The source driver for driving and sensing a display panel of the disclosure includes a sensing circuit, an analog-to-digital converter circuit and a digital arithmetic circuit. The sensing circuit is configured to receive a reference signal through a sensing channel when the source driver is operated in a calibration mode. The analog-to-digital converter circuit is coupled to the sensing circuit, and configured to convert the reference signal to a digital reference signal. The digital arithmetic circuit is coupled to the analog-to-digital converter circuit, and configured to obtain a calibration parameter according to the digital reference signal. The source driver calibrates a sensing path for sensing a display panel according to the calibration parameter when the source driver is operated in a sensing mode.

Abstract: An electronic device for driving a display panel and an operation method thereof are provided. The electronic device includes a first input terminal, a first circuit and a second circuit. The first input terminal receives a first sensing signal from a first sensing line of the sensing lines of the display panel. The first circuit generates a first signal according to the first sensing signal and provides a processing circuit with the first signal during a pre-processing period. The second circuit generates a second signal according to the first sensing signal and provides the processing circuit with the second signal during a normal processing period after the pre-processing period.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a sensing apparatus and an operation method thereof. Abstract: The disclosure provides a trimming method, a trimming circuitry, and a trimming system for an IC with memory usage reduction. The method is applicable to a system including a tester, a characteristic adjustable circuit, and a trimming circuitry having a characteristic outputting circuit, a data memory, and a trim memory. The method includes the following steps. Under each condition, output signals respectively corresponding to trim settings are received from the characteristic adjustable circuit by the characteristic outputting circuit to obtain output values of the condition, a statistical parameter associated with the output values of the condition is calculated by the tester. The statistical parameter of at least one of the conditions is written into the data memory by the tester. An optimal trim setting of the characteristic adjustable circuit is determined according to the statistical parameters under all the conditions and written into the trim memory by the tester.

Abstract: A gate driver, a display apparatus having the same, and a gate driving method are provided. The display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels, a data driver circuit, and a gate driver circuit. The gate driver circuit includes M groups of gate channels. Each of the M groups of gate channels includes a control circuit and an output buffer. The control circuit receives a power supply voltage from a power supply circuit and generates a modulated supply voltage. The output buffer is connected to the control circuit, the output buffer is powered by the modulated supply voltage to output a gate signal to a gate line of the display panel, wherein a driving pulse of the gate signal is shaped during a charge period according to the modulated supply voltage, and the shape of the driving pulse of the gate signal is maintained during a pre-charge period.
