Abstract: An energy treatment system and a output control method thereof according to embodiments of the present invention perform treatment by energy supply in which ultrasonic energy and high frequency energy are combined, stop or suppress discharge by reducing the output of high frequency energy within a set period when a state in which discharge is likely to occur during treatment is detected, and change the output of ultrasonic energy. In addition, in order for a user to continue treatment without feeling uncomfortable and to ensure incision performance, each output is controlled so that the set period is as short as possible or is supplemented, and also, the set period expires, and control is performed so as to reduce the possibility of discharge even at the time of returning.

Abstract: A treatment system includes a treatment tool and an energy source apparatus. The treatment tool includes a heater and bipolar electrodes to grip a treatment target. The energy source apparatus supplies electrical energy to the treatment tool. A processor controls the output to the bipolar electrodes and the heater. The processor causes a high-frequency electric power to be output to the bipolar electrodes and detects a parameter that varies depending on tissue volume of the treatment target. The processor sets a target value related to an output control process for controlling the output to the heater. The processor controls the output to the heater so as to modify the treatment target with the heat of the heater. The processor increases the output and temperature to the heater until at least a predetermined point of time after starting the output control process for controlling the output to the heater.

Abstract: A treatment system includes a treatment tool and an energy source apparatus used to supply electrical energy to the treatment tool. The treatment tool includes a heater and bipolar electrodes to grip a treatment target. The energy source apparatus includes a processor to control the output to the bipolar electrodes and the heater, respectively. The processor directs the output to the bipolar electrodes and detects an initial value of the impedance of the treatment target. The processor determines whether or not the impedance has reached a minimum value and then retrieves a parameter that is detected before the minimum value of the impedance is detected. The processor performs a first process and/or a second process based on the acquired parameter after the minimum value is detected. The first process determines whether or not the output to the heater is required. The second process sets a target value.

Abstract: In a treatment system, an energy treatment instrument includes a pair of grasping pieces. An energy output source outputs electric energy to the energy treatment instrument, thereby applying treatment energy to a blood vessel grasped between the grasping pieces. A measurement section measures a blood pressure at a site related to the grasped blood vessel. A processor controls output of the electric energy from the energy output source based on a measurement result obtained by the measurement section, and thereby switches an actuation state of the energy treatment instrument between a first mode for coagulating the blood vessel and a second mode for coagulating the blood vessel target that is different from the first mode.

Abstract: A medical device includes: an end effector configured to apply treatment energy for treating a living tissue according to supplied power; a drive source configured to supply the power to the end effector; and a processor configured to classify, in a first time period after a supply of the power to the end effector is started, the living tissue into any one of a plurality of tissue types based on a first parameter detected in the first time period, control an operation of the drive source after the first time period based on the classified tissue type, reclassify the classified living tissue into any one of the plurality of tissue types based on a second parameter detected after the first time period, and control an operation of the drive source based on the tissue type into which the classified living tissue is reclassified.
