Abstract: A cable management system for a network cabinet has first and second server equipment rails, first and second air dams, and a front cable support. The server equipment rails are mounted to a base frame of the network cabinet such that the server equipment rails extend from the base frame towards a front of the network cabinet. The air dams are mounted to the base frame of the network cabinet such that the air dams extend from the base frame towards opposing sides of the network cabinet. The front cable support has a generally U-shaped tray that is connected to the first and second server equipment rails such that the tray extends across a front of the network cabinet, transverse to the server equipment rails.

Abstract: In an embodiment, the present invention is an enclosure for housing electronic equipment, which includes a frame for mounting the electronic equipment, a gateway connected to the frame and in communication with a management application, a door removably mounted to the frame, the door including a plurality of door-mounted electronic devices, at least one of the door-mounted electronic devices requiring an interface that is different from at least one other of the door-mounted electronic devices, a door module attached to the door, the door module providing a plurality of interfaces wherein each of the plurality of door-mounted electronic devices is connected to one of the plurality of interfaces, and a communication link between the door module and the gateway, at least a portion of the communication link consisting of a single communication cable.

Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus for closing off an opening above, below, or between electronic equipment in a rack. The rack includes a pair of equipment rails. The electronic equipment is mounted to the equipment rails. The apparatus includes a base, a roller shade, and a handle. The roller shade is rotatably connected to the base and includes a free end extending from the base when the roller shade is rotated. The handle is connected to the free end of the roller shade. The base is removably connected to the equipment rails at a first position. The handle is removably connected to the equipment rails at a second position spaced apart from the first position such that the free end of the roller shade is extended to close off the opening in the rack.
