    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a communication device may receive a reference signal from a communication station, wherein the reference signal is based on a reference component carrier. The communication device may generate one or more control signals based on one or more keying signals, the one or more keying signals having respective one or more keying frequencies. The communication device may transmit a backscattered signal based on the reference signal and the one or more control signals, wherein the backscattered signal is based on one or more pairs of component carriers that correspond to the reference component carrier shifted by the one or more keying frequencies.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for sidelink assistance for communication between a user equipment (UE) and a network entity. In some aspects, a set of UEs and a network entity may support one or more signaling mechanisms according to which at least one UE is able to assist other UEs in receiving or obtaining information to use for communication with the network entity. For example, a first UE may receive assistance information from a second UE and may use the received assistance information for communication between the first CE and the network entity or may otherwise operate in accordance with the received assistance information. Such assistance information may include an indication of a system information change, a public warning signal (PWS) notification, one or more signal strength measurements, or uplink transmission information.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a wireless node establishes sidelink connections with a set of UEs. The wireless node transmits, to a network component, a request for sidelink resources for a sidelink position estimation procedure associated with the set of UEs. The network component determines an available sidelink resource pool for the sidelink position estimation procedure in response to the request. The network component transmits, to the wireless node in response to the request, an indication of the available sidelink resource pool for the sidelink position estimation procedure. The wireless node transmits, to each UE in the set of UEs, a sidelink resource configuration that is based on the available sidelink resource pool for the sidelink position estimation procedure.

    Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve the efficiency and performance of artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) (AI/ML) positioning by enabling a network node (e.g., a base station, a transmission reception point (TRP), etc.) to compress uplink (UL) reference signal measurements to reduce reporting overhead for the UL reference signal measurements. In one aspect, a network node performs at least one channel impulse response (CIR) measurement or at least one channel frequency response (CFR) measurement for a set of sounding reference signals (SRSs). The network node compresses the at least one CIR measurement or the at least one CFR measurement for the set of SRSs. The network node reports, for a network entity, one or more of the at least one compressed CIR measurement or the at least one compressed CFR measurement for the set of SRSs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a user equipment (UE) may identify, in a radio frequency spectrum band a first resource for a sidelink synchronization signal block (S-SSB) and may perform a channel access procedure for the radio frequency spectrum band for the first resource. In a first example, a second resource for a sidelink message may overlap in time with the first resource and the UE may perform the channel access procedure based on the S-SSB being prioritized over the sidelink message. In a second example, the UE may perform the channel access procedure in accordance with a first value of a parameter for the channel access procedure associated with a first synchronization priority based on the UE being associated with the first synchronization priority. The UE may transmit an S-SSB over the first resource based on the channel access procedure indicating availability.
