Abstract: A rearview assembly for a vehicle includes a rearview assembly housing, a display on an outer surface of the rearview assembly housing, and a controller configured to receive information on a battery level or a gasoline level of the vehicle, where the display is configured to display the battery level or the gasoline level of the vehicle. The rearview assembly may include a reflective coating, for example a chromium-based reflective coating.
