Disclosed herein is a joint unit including two facing gears that include respective two bevel gear members that face each other, and an intermediate gear that has a bevel gear member meshing with both the two bevel gear members. One of the two facing gears and the intermediate gear includes a first member including an inner circumferential portion of the bevel gear member of the one of the two facing gears and the intermediate gear; a second member including an outer circumferential portion of the bevel gear member of the one of the two facing gears and the intermediate gear; and a resilient member attached to one of the first member and the second member for normally urging the other of the first member and the second member to move in a direction along the directions of rotation of the one of the two facing gears and the intermediate gear.

The object of the present invention is to provide a fragrance presentation device which prevents an unintended smell from being presented. A fragrance presentation device for use with a display device which can be mounted on the head of a user includes a fragrance presentation module disposed in a fragrance presentation position in the vicinity of the nostrils of a person on which the display device is mounted, a fragrance holder having a fragrance container for holding a fragrance therein, the fragrance holder placing the fragrance container in a position spaced from the fragrance presentation position at least while the fragrance is not presented, and delivering the fragrance out of the fragrance container when the fragrance in the fragrance container is presented, and a fragrance conductor for conducting the fragrance which has been delivered out of the fragrance holder to the fragrance presentation module.

A block set assembled by a user and an information processing device communicate with each other. The information processing device thereby obtains information on the structure of the block set. In addition, an object of a crane truck corresponding to the block set is displayed on a display device. Correspondences between joints and wheels and correspondences between movements are set. Thereby, when the block set is moved, the movement of the block set is reflected in the object on display. When the object is moved, the movement of the object is reflected in the block set by transmitting a control signal from the information processing device.

A first transmission path includes a joint rotation member (13A) provided in a joint (J1) of an arm (Ar) and rotatable around a first axial line (Ax1), and a connection shaft portion (14A) that transmits rotation of an electric motor (11A) to the joint rotation member (13A). A second transmission path includes a joint gear (13B) provided in the joint (J1) of the arm (Ar) and rotatable around the first axial line (Ax1), and a connection shaft portion (14B) that transmits rotation of another electric motor (11B) to the joint gear (13B). Both of the connection shaft portion (14A) and the connection shaft portion (14B) are rotatable around the first axial line (Ax1), and the connection shaft portion (14B) is disposed on the inner side of the connection shaft portion (14A). The joint gear (13B) is kept in engagement with a joint gear (15B) rotatable around a second axial line (Ax2) intersecting with the first axial line (Ax1). According to this structure, two movements of the arm (Ar) are permitted, and besides the exercise performance of the arm (Ar) can be improved.

There is provided a drive power transmitting mechanism that can transmit drive power losslessly and can be used in environments where silence is required. The drive power transmitting mechanism includes a rotor having a first outer circumferential surface and rotatable about a first rotational axis, a rotor having a second outer circumferential surface pressed against the first outer circumferential surface and rotatable about a second rotational axis due to a frictional force produced between the second outer circumferential surface and the first outer circumferential surface, a gear rotatable in unison with the rotor about the first rotational axis, and a gear rotatable in unison with the rotor about the second rotational axis, in which the gear and the gear are brought into mesh with each other when the second outer circumferential surface slips against the first outer circumferential surface.

Disclosed herein is a rotation transmitting device which permits the transmission of rotation with a reduced play and which permits the constituents to be aligned easily. The rotation transmitting device has a transmitting member (30) which surrounds a rotating part (12) of a drive shaft (11) and a rotating part (22) of a driven shaft (21). At least either the rotating part (12) of the drive shaft (11) or the rotating part (22) of the driven shaft (21) has an external surface that comes into contact with the internal surface of the transmitting member (30) so that friction arising between the internal surface and the external surface achieves torque transmission and reception to and from the transmitting member (30).

An information processing section performs predetermined information processing according to the shape, posture, and position of the block set or an operation on an input device by the user. A display processing section generates an image to be displayed as a result of the information processing, and outputs the image to a display device. A driving control section transmits a signal for controlling the operation of the block set.

An information processing device communicates with a block set assembled by a user, and thereby obtains information on the structure of the block set. In addition, a corresponding position setting screen including an image of an object corresponding to the block set is displayed on a display device. The user moves a joint of the block set which joint is desired to be associated, by for example bending and stretching the joint. Next, the user indicates a joint to be associated on a 3D object side in the image of the 3D object by a cursor, and performs a determination input. The joint of the block set and the joint of the 3D object are thereby associated with each other. The block set and the object are interlocked with each other bidirectionally by thus setting the corresponding positions of the block set and the object.
