Abstract: A testing system according to one or more embodiments may include: a smear preparing apparatus that prepares a smear slide by smearing a sample on a glass slide; a smear transporting apparatus that transports the smear slide; a controller; and a display part. The controller may cause the display part to display a selection screen on which one or more of the smear preparing apparatus and the smear transporting apparatus can be selected. Based on a selection on the selection screen, the one or more of the smear preparing apparatus and the smear transporting apparatus selected on the selection screen may run respective start operations.

Abstract: Disclosed is a specimen smearing apparatus including: a slide supplying section configured to supply a glass slide yet to be processed; a first processing section configured to perform a first process on the glass slide, the first processing section being disposed in a first direction with respect to the slide supplying section, the first direction being a far direction of an apparatus body of the specimen smearing apparatus; a second processing section configured to perform on the glass slide a second process which is different from the first process, the second processing section being disposed in a second direction with respect to the first processing section, the second direction being a left-right direction of the apparatus body and orthogonal to the first direction; and a first drying processing section disposed in a third direction with respect to the second processing section, the third direction being a near direction of the apparatus body and opposite to the first direction, the first drying processing section configured to dry a specimen on the glass slide on which the first process and the second process have been performed, wherein one of the first processing section and the second processing section is configured to perform a smearing process for smearing a specimen on the glass slide.

Abstract: A specimen analysis system, a specimen analyzer, and a specimen analysis method are provided by which reexamination of a specimen can be executed more quickly than in conventional technology. A specimen analyzer measures a specimen and obtains an analysis result. The specimen analyzer determines the necessity of remeasurement of the specimen, based on a specimen analysis result. Also, the specimen analyzer determines, based on the specimen analysis result, whether or not determination of the necessity of remeasurement of the specimen based on examination information by the examination information management device is necessary. If it is determined that determination of the necessity of remeasurement of the specimen based on the examination information is necessary, the specimen analyzer makes a request to determine the necessity of remeasurement of the specimen based on the examination information, to the examination information management device.

The smear transporting apparatus includes a smear-container transport part that transports a first smear container accommodating smear slides to a smear pickup position; a smear transfer part that picks a smear slide whose image is to be captured by the smear-image capture apparatus from the first smear container transported to the smear pickup position, transfers the smear slide to the smear-image capture apparatus, and places the smear slide whose image has been captured by the smear-image capture apparatus in a second smear container different from the first smear container; and a storage that stores the first smear container and the second smear container.
