    Abstract: A method includes transmitting, via a transceiver, radar signals for object detection. The method includes determining whether a moving object is detected using received reflections of the radar signals corresponding to a current radar frame. In response to a determination that no moving object is detected using the current radar frame, the method includes determining whether a moving object is detected using received reflections of the radar signals corresponding to multiple radar frames. The method also includes generating a detection result indicating that (i) no moving object is detected using the multiple radar frames or (ii) the moving object is detected using either the current radar frame or the multiple radar frames.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer-readable media for a composite beam generation using machine learning. A method includes identifying a narrow beam for a transmission, identifying a composite beam including the narrow beam based on an association between one or more composite beams and one or more narrow beams, identifying one or more beamforming weights for transmitting the composite beam, and transmitting the composite beam using the one or more beamforming weights. The one or more beamforming weights are determined based on machine learning.     Abstract: An electronic device and methods for performing beam management (BM) in systems with antenna arrays capable of operating in combined radar and communication modes are disclosed herein. The electronic device comprises a processor and a plurality of antenna elements configured to operate in a first mode, in which the antenna elements are used for communications with beamforming, and a second mode, in which at least two of the antenna elements are used for radar and the remainder are used for the communications. The processor is configured to perform a mode switch on the antenna elements to switch between the first mode and the second mode, determine, after the mode switch, a new beam to use during a first BM cycle, perform, using the new beam, the first BM cycle to obtain signal quality measurements, and perform a second BM cycle using an updated beam based on the signal quality measurements.
