Abstract: Provided is a repeater-type radio relay system that can prevent loop interference of radio waves with the same frequency and does not require a frequency for relaying. The radio relay system is provided with one or more optical fibers for relaying an optical communication between a relay-source radio relay apparatus and a relay-destination radio relay apparatus. The relay-source radio relay apparatus has a network-side communication section for communicating with a mobile-communication network side, and an electro-optical signal conversion section of relay source for converting between an electrical signal in the mobile-communication network side received from the network-side communication section and an optical signal propagating through the optical fiber. The relay-destination radio relay apparatus has a terminal-side communication section for wirelessly communicating with the terminal apparatus side, and an electro-optical signal conversion section of relay destination for converting between an electric signal in the terminal apparatus side received from the terminal-side communication section and an optical signal propagating through the optical fiber.

Abstract: It is to provide a base station and a radio communication system that are capable of obtaining a desired communication quality by suppressing an influence of interference between a cell in an upper-airspace area and a cell in a terrestrial area, in case that a terminal apparatus is used in the upper-airspace area. A base station 20A of a mobile communication is provided with an antenna 26, a radio communication section 23 for forming a lower first cell 100A and a second cell 200A above the first cell, which are capable of using a same frequency band, and performing a radio communication via the antenna to and from a terminal apparatus 30A in the first cell and a terminal apparatus 40A in the second cell, and a resource assignment section for assigning a radio resource of the same frequency band to a communication with the terminal apparatus in any one cell of the first cell and the second cell in a same time period, and not assigning the radio resource of the same frequency band to communication with the terminal apparatus in an other cell. When the radio resource of the same frequency band is assigned to the terminal apparatus in the second cell, a transmission power control for reducing a transmission power is applied to the terminal apparatus to which the radio resource of the same frequency band is assigned.

Abstract: A communication system, a base station and a communication control method are provided, which are capable of cooperatively transmitting data from a plurality of base stations to a plurality of communication terminals using a same radio resource. A first base station acquires a value of an interference suppression parameter that is applied to a transmission signal from the first base station so as to suppress interference from a second base station in a first communication terminal, when the first communication terminal locates in a cell border area. The second base station duplicates a desired data for a second communication terminal located in a cell of the second base station, and transmits the duplicated desired data to the first base station. The first base station generates a transmission signal based on the value of the interference suppression parameter, the desired data for the first communication terminal, the desired data for the second communication terminal received from the second base station and a control information on data cooperative transmission, and the second base station generates a transmission signal of the desired data for the second communication terminal. Each of the base stations cooperatively transmits the transmission signal at a predetermined data cooperative transmission timing.

Abstract: A deviation of time at which downlink signals synchronously transmitted from a macro-cell base station and a small-cell base station respectively reach a communication terminal apparatus can be made within an allowable range, without being affected by transmission delay in transmission cables of base station and propagation delay in radio transmission paths. The small-cell base station is provided with a radio transceiving section connected with antenna, a radio communication control section, a transmission cable connected with the radio transceiving section and the radio communication control section, and a downlink signal receiving section for receiving downlink signals transmitted from the macro-cell base station and the own base station respectively. The small-cell base station measures a reception-timing difference of downlink signals transmitted from the macro-cell base station and the own base station based on a reception result of the downlink signal, adjusts a transmission timing of downlink signal of the own base station based on the reception-timing difference, and transmits a downlink signal at the adjusted transmission timing.

Abstract: It is provided of a system capable of estimating a current position of a terminal apparatus, even if a terminal apparatus for mobile communication is in a condition of non-receiving or inability to receive GNSS signals. A radio relay apparatus, in which a relay station mounted on a drone, transmits radio waves from a directional antenna toward the ground while flying in an upper airspace above a target area on the ground, and transmits position information on its own apparatus obtained based on the GNSS signal, to an information processing apparatus. The terminal apparatus measures a reception power or a reception quality of radio waves transmitted from the radio relay apparatus, and transmits reception measurement information regarding the measurement result of the reception power or the reception quality, to the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus estimates the position of the terminal apparatus in the target area, based on the position information from the radio relay apparatus received in a flight time period during which the radio relay apparatus flies in the upper airspace above the target area and the reception measurement information from the terminal apparatus. The information processing apparatus may estimate the position where the reception power or the reception quality from the terminal apparatus is maximum, as the position of the terminal apparatus.

Abstract: Communication systems and communication methods capable of evaluating a voice quality in a voice communication of a communication network and a presence or absence of a call drop of the voice communication are provided. A voice communication of transceiving a test signal for voice communication quality evaluation between a communication terminal apparatus 100 and a voice communication evaluation system 400 via the communication network 300 is performed. A voice quality evaluation value is calculated based on the test signal before transmission and the test signal after reception in the voice communication. A presence or absence of a call drop of the voice communication is determined based on a presence or absence of reception interruption of the test signal.
