Abstract: The invention relates to an electric power transmission system (20) for a vehicle (10) comprising an energy storage system (30) for storing electrical power and a bidirectional power system (40) connected to the energy storage system, the bidirectional power system comprising a bidirectional DC/AC converter (50) for power conversion, the bidirectional DC/AC converter (50) being connected to the energy storage system, a junction unit (60) connected to the bidirectional DC/AC converter and comprising a charging interface (70) for connecting to an external power supply grid (72), and an electrical power take-off (ePTO) (80) interface for connecting to an external power load (82), and wherein the bidirectional power system is configured to perform any one of the following operations: an ePTO first operation (1 10), in which power is transferred from the energy storage system to the ePTO interface via the bidirectional power system, an ePTO second operation (120), in which power is transferred from the charging interface to the ePTO interface via the bidirectional power system, and a charging operation (130), in which power is transferred from the charging interface to the energy storage system via the bidirectional power system.

Abstract: An articulated vehicle having at least two vehicle parts which are connected to and articulated relative to each other is provided. The vehicle includes a front vehicle part and at least one rear vehicle part arranged behind the front vehicle part with respect to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The front vehicle part has a first drive unit including at least an electric motor and a first energy storage system; and at least one rear vehicle part has a drive unit including at least an electric motor and an energy storage system. Each rear vehicle part includes an individual electrical system that is galvanically isolated from the front vehicle part and from each other at least under normal driving conditions.

Abstract: A system for controlling capacitors comprised in an at least partly electrical driven vehicle. The system comprises a converter comprising a first capacitor connected to a first side of a three-phase bridge. The system comprises a third capacitor adapted to be controlled, via a first switch, to be either connected in parallel to or disconnected from the first capacitor. The system is adapted such that, when the converter is activated and is initiated to start operating or is currently operating, the first switch is in a closed position such that the third capacitor is connected. The system is further adapted such that, when the converter is inactivated and is not in operation, the first switch is in an open position such that the third capacitor is disconnected.

Abstract: A motor drive in a an at least partly electrically operated vehicle. Motor windings are connected to a positive pole of a TVS and a capacitor is connected to a negative pole when a first, third and sixth connecting units are in connected state and when a second, fourth and fifth connecting units are in disconnected state. The motor windings are connected to a negative pole of the TVS and the capacitor is connected to the positive pole when the first, third and sixth connecting units are in disconnected state and when the second, fourth and fifth connecting units are in connected state.

Abstract: A method performed by a control unit for handling phases in which multiple converters operate in an at least partly electrically driven vehicle. The converters are parallel power electric converters each comprised in a respective EMD. The converters are connected to a power supply via a DC supply link. At least one of the converters is adapted to communicate with at least one of the remaining of the multiple converters via a communication interface. The control unit detects that a first converter operates in a first phase. The control unit initiates at least one of the remaining converters to operate phase shifted compared to the first converter.
