Abstract: A system for assessing spinal implants includes at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions for execution by the at least one processor that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to receive first image data of a spinal column of a patient, determine, based on the first image data, a property of first bony anatomy in at least a first portion of the spinal column, determine, based on the property of the first bony anatomy, an initial screw trajectory for inserting a screw into the spinal column, virtually insert the screw along the initial screw trajectory using the first image data to generate modified first image data, perform an initial loading simulation for the virtually inserted screw using the modified first image data, and determine, based on the initial loading simulation, a suitability of the initial screw trajectory for implanting the screw into the spinal column.

Abstract: A method of assessing spinal column stability involves receiving image data corresponding to a spinal column of a patient; determining, based on the image data, a material strength of bony anatomy in at least a portion of the spinal column; completing a first stability assessment of the spinal column, based at least in part on the determined material strength; modifying the image data to simulate removal of bony anatomy or soft tissue from the spinal column to yield modified image data; and completing a second stability assessment of the spinal column, based at least in part on the determined material strength and the modified image data.

Abstract: A spinal implant includes a link having a first surface and a second surface connectable with a spinal construct. The spinal construct is attachable with one or more vertebral levels. A plurality of electrodes includes at least one electrode disposed with the first surface and at least one electrode disposed with the second surface such that the electrodes conduct an electric current to stimulate tissue growth adjacent the spinal construct. Systems, surgical instruments and methods are disclosed.

Abstract: A surgical instrument includes a first arm engageable with a first spinal construct disposed with a first vertebral surface. A second arm is connected with the first arm via a pivot and being engageable with a second spinal construct disposed with a second vertebral surface. The first arm is movable to rotate the first spinal construct relative to the pivot and/or the second arm is movable to rotate the second spinal construct relative to the pivot such that the first vertebral surface is moved relative to the second vertebral surface. Systems and methods of use are disclosed.

Abstract: A surgical instrument comprises a first member including an inner surface that defines a cavity and an outer surface configured to space tissue. The first member includes a first locking surface. A second member is configured for disposal within the cavity and extends between a first end configured to penetrate tissue and a second end configured to generate a signal representative of a position of the second member. The second member includes a second locking surface. The members are disposable between a first orientation such that the locking surfaces are engaged to resist relative axial translation of the members and a second orientation such that the locking surfaces are disengaged and the second member is axially translatable relative to the first member. Systems and methods are disclosed.

Abstract: A system of generating a pre-operative assessment of a patient includes an assessment system configured to communicate with client electronic devices. The system receives patient information pertaining to a patient, uses the patient information to access one or more medical images associated with the patient, performs one or more image processing techniques on the one or more medical images to identify measurements pertaining to an internal bodily structure of the patient, identifies one or more implant components for the patient, determines whether the one or more implant components are currently stocked, in response to determining that the one or more implant components are not currently stocked, automatically generates and placing an order for the one or more implant components that are not stocked, generates a pre-operative assessment for the patient, and causes the assessment to be displayed on a display device of a client electronic device.
