    Abstract: A photoreceptor comprises a conductive substrate. An undercoat layer is disposed on the conductive substrate. The undercoat layer includes modified metal oxide particles and a binder resin, the modified metal oxide particles comprising metal oxide particles having an outer surface and hygroscopic polymers attached to the surface. The hygroscopic polymers are made by linking a hydrophilic polymer group to the metal oxide particles using a dithiofunctionalized phosphonatomethylaryl ligand that acts as the linking group. A photosensitive layer is disposed on the undercoat layer.

    Abstract: An electrophotographic component includes a substrate and an optional cushioning layer disposed on the substrate. The optional cushioning layer comprises a material selected from the group consisting of silicones, fluorosilicones and fluoroelastomers. An optional release layer is disposed on the substrate and if present, on the optional cushioning layer. The optional release layer comprises a fluoropolymer. The substrate, the optional cushioning layer, the optional release layer, or any combination thereof, comprise a plurality of fluorinated boron nitride nanosheets. The electrophotographic component comprises at least one layer selected from the optional cushioning layer and the optional release layer.

    Abstract: There is described a coating composition useful for forming a transfer member suitable for use with an image forming system. The composition includes coating an ultraviolet (UV) curable mixture comprising a chlorinated polyester resin, a reactive diluent, conductive species and a photoinitiator on a substrate. The UV curable mixture is cured with ultraviolet energy. The cured mixture is then removed from the substrate.
