Abstract: A system for tracking the location of an electronic device includes an electronic device and a wireless location tag. The wireless location tag includes a microcontroller unit, and a modular connector interface configured to be communicatively coupled to a port of the electronic device. The wireless location tag is configured to establish an Internet connection to one or more backend electronic devices in response to detecting that the wireless location tag has been communicatively coupled to the port of the electronic device, obtain identifying information that is associated with the electronic device, and identify tag identifying information associated with the wireless location tag. The wireless location tag is also configured to send one or more instructions to the one or more backend electronic devices via the Internet connection, and send one or more ping messages to the one or more backend electronic devices.

Abstract: This document discloses methods by which an electronic device may determine a navigable path to a destination in an indoor environment without requiring data from any location-based tracking system that is external to the electronic device. The device will receive a graph representation of a map of the indoor environment, with instances of objects represented as nodes of the graph, and with open area paths represented as edges of the graph. The device will determine multiple candidate paths from a starting location to the destination location. Each of the candidate paths will include a set of node-edge combinations that extend from the starting location to the destination location. The processor will identify which of the candidate paths is a shortest path, and it will use that path to identify a navigable path to the destination.

Abstract: Systems and methods for navigating an environment are provided. A method includes determining a starting location and a destination location in an environment, receiving a graph representation of a map of the environment, determining a plurality of candidate paths from the starting location to the destination location, identifying which of the plurality of candidate paths is a shortest path from the starting point location to the destination object location, selecting the shortest path as a path to navigate from the starting location to the destination location, generating a token comprising one or more instructions for navigating the shortest path, and causing the token to be displayed on a display device of an interactive kiosk, wherein the one or more instructions comprise one or more instructions that cause a mobile electronic device to display a navigation guide for directing a user from the starting location to the destination location.

Abstract: A system for enforcing occupancy for a facility includes client electronic devices, each associated with one or more individuals who have access to a facility, an access monitoring system, and a computing device in communication with at least a portion of the plurality of the client electronic devices and the access monitoring system. The system determines, for the facility, a health risk rating, a maximum occupancy, a risk-adjusted occupancy, an estimated occupant number, and determines, based on the risk-adjusted occupancy and the estimated occupant number whether one or more individuals need to exit the facility. If individuals need to exit the facility, the system identifies and notifies the individuals.
