Abstract: A method includes obtaining an access category associated with network traffic. The network traffic includes one or more packets disposed in one or more sessions. The method also includes obtaining one or more traffic identifiers associated with the access category to assign to the one or more packets. The method further includes mapping the one or more traffic identifiers to one or more network links connecting a transmitting device and a receiving device. The method also includes assigning a first traffic identifier to first packets included in a first session of the one or more sessions and assigning a second traffic identifier to second packets included in a second session. The method further includes transmitting the first packets and the second packets to the receiving device using the one or more network links based on the mapping of the traffic identifiers to the network links.

Abstract: Methods and systems may include processes that may implement abbreviated header communications. In some implementations, a method may include generating a packet including an abbreviated header, where the abbreviated header may include a pointer corresponding to values for multiple parameters associated with a physical layer of communication rather than the values for the multiple parameters. The method may also include transmitting the packet to a client device according to the values for the multiple parameters.

Abstract: An example method of wireless data transmission may include determining a configuration of multiple antenna element nodes. The configuration may indicate a frequency band of operation for each of the multiple antenna element nodes and the configuration may be determined based on one or more network factors of multiple frequency bands. The method may also include selecting, based on the configuration, a signal path to couple to each of the multiple antenna element nodes from multiple signal paths. The multiple signal paths may each be configured to amplify signals carried thereon and at least two of the multiple signal paths may be coupled between each antenna element node and a common node. The method may further include directing, based on the configuration, wireless communications over the multiple antenna element nodes.

Abstract: Example methods relate to avoiding beacon collisions between a repeater and a root AP, optimizing traffic flows based on buffers queued within hardware, and/or optimizing transmissions through a trigger-based mechanism.
An example method includes determining loads on buffers within a repeater configured to communicate according to a DBVC protocol. The loads on the buffers correspond to data to be transmitted within upstream and downstream networks. The method includes determining whether to adjust a DBVC duty cycle of the repeater based on the loads. The DBVC duty cycle includes: an on channel duty cycle comprising a ratio of time on an on channel to total time on both the on and off channels; or an off channel duty cycle comprising a ratio of time on the off channel to total time on both the on and off channels. The method includes adjusting the DBVC duty cycle of the repeater.

Abstract: Multiple methods for determining a location of a STA operating on a mesh wireless network are described herein. A STA finder is used to monitor changes in received signal strength at each access point of a group of access points operating the mesh wireless network. The changes in received signal strength are then utilized to determine a location of STAs operating on the mesh wireless network. Methods for identifying poor performance areas on the mesh wireless network using the position information and then providing recommendations for improving the performance of the mesh wireless network are also described herein.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining an address associated with a data transform command. The address may be disposed in a container located in a first memory. The method also includes obtaining metadata associated with the data transform command. The data transform command may be disposed in the first memory and may be pointed to by the address. A first portion of the metadata may be public data and a second portion of the metadata may be sensitive data. The method further includes storing the public data in the first memory and the sensitive data in a second memory disposed internally to a data transform accelerator. The method also includes configuring a data transform pipeline in the data transform accelerator based on the public data in the first memory and the sensitive data in the second memory.
