    Abstract: A coupler device of a door coupler engageable with a vane member includes a housing, a shaft rotatable about an axis, and at least one rotary magnet arranged within an interior of the housing. The at least one rotary magnet is coupled to the shaft. The coupler device is transformable between an off configuration and an on configuration and the coupler device is magnetically couplable with the vane member when in the on configuration.

    Abstract: A control method for a conveyor device, which is applicable to a control system comprising a control terminal and one or more control nodes, each of the control nodes is in communication connection with the control terminal. The method includes controlling, by the control node that receives an operation signal, a movable device associated with the control node to reach a conveyor device to be controlled, in response to the operation signal sent by a control terminal; and determining whether to control the conveyor device to be controlled according to the indication of the operation signal, based on sensed data from a sensing device regarding the condition of an object to be conveyed on the conveyor device to be controlled.

    Abstract: A safety system (105) for an elevator system (100) which includes a hoistway (104), an elevator car (102) and a plurality of landing doors (112a-f). The safety system (105) includes a first safety chain (120), a second safety chain (125) and a controller (110). The first safety chain (120) is configured to produce an even landing signal and the second safety chain (125) is configured to produce an odd landing signal. The controller (110) is configured to automatically instruct the elevator system (100) to enter a special operating mode when the production of the even landing signal and the odd landing signal indicates that the elevator car (102) is located at an even landing and an odd landing door is open, or that the elevator car (102) is located at an odd landing and an even landing door is open.

    Abstract: A device for inputting an elevator calling command and an elevator control system including the device. A device for inputting an elevator calling includes one or more button units, each of the button units including a switching element and a variable resistance circuit coupled with the switching element. The variable resistance circuit includes a button switch and a display element coupled in parallel, and a resistance value of the variable resistance circuit varies with a state of the button switch. The device further includes a control unit configured to determine a state of a corresponding button switch based on the resistance value of the variable resistance circuit within each of the button units, and to apply a pulse width modulation signal having different duty cycles onto a control terminal of a corresponding switching element based on the state as determined.

    Abstract: An elevator traction machine installation apparatus includes a lifting mechanism having a base portion and a load-bearing portion adapted to place an elevator traction machine, the base and load-bearing portions are connected and can rise and lower relative to each other in a longitudinal direction of an elevator hoistway; and a support mechanism configured to be detachably connected with the lifting mechanism and a base for installation of a machine-room-less elevator traction machine in the elevator hoistway to support the lifting mechanism and the elevator traction machine, and having at least two positions at which the base portion is secured, a first position is lower than a second position in the longitudinal direction, and the load-bearing portion is lifted relative to the base portion after the base portion is secured at the first position, and continues to be lifted relative to the base portion.
