Abstract:
A holding apparatus for holding a workpiece, which has a round and/or tubular cross section and is to be machined, in such a way that, in the held state, the workpiece can be rotated in relation to the holding apparatus, having at least two clamping arms, which are mounted in a pivotable manner on a base part and by means of which a clamping force can be exerted onto the workpiece, and having an adjustment mechanism for the clamping arms. Provision is made for the adjustment mechanism to have at least two drivers which are guided in a straight line, it being possible for the clamping arms to be pivoted or the clamping arms being pivoted toward one another by virtue of the movement of the drivers, wherein the drivers are arranged one behind the other as seen transversely in relation to the direction of movement of the drivers.
Abstract:
A device for inoculating fluid conducted through pipes includes a reservoir configured to hold an inoculant. The reservoir includes an outlet through which the inoculant is feedable to at least one of the pipes and an inlet configured to route compressed air into an interior of the reservoir.
Abstract:
A cutting device for the chipless cutting of a material comprises a cutting part and a supporting part. The cutting part and the supporting part are designed to be rotated with respect to one another about an axis of rotation between an open position and a closed position. A hand lever is articulated to the supporting part for pivoting about a pivot axis. A ratchet mechanism converts a back-and-forth motion of the hand lever into a continuous rotational motion of the cutting part toward the closed position. The ratchet mechanism includes a toothing and a drive pawl, which can be brought into an effective position with respect to the toothing. Furthermore, the cutting device comprises a coupling mechanism, which converts a one-time pivoting motion of the hand lever into a rotational motion of the cutting part. A separate coupling element transmits force from the hand lever to the cutting part.
Abstract:
An advancing unit for a cleaning spiral, which can be rotated by a motor about its longitudinal axis, of a pipe cleaning machine, such as, for example, a pipe cleaning machine having a drum. The advancing unit includes a drive device, which produces the advancement of the cleaning spiral, with at least two clamping parts, wherein at least one clamping part thereof can be brought into a clamping position against the cleaning spiral in such a manner that the clamping parts press against the cleaning spiral, so that an advancement of the cleaning spiral is generated in the case of a rotating cleaning spiral. The advancing unit further comprises a control device for controlling the advancement of the cleaning spiral by means of at least one of the clamping parts as well as a safety device, by which at least one of the clamping parts can be brought out of its clamping position against the cleaning spiral. It is provided that the control device and the drive device and/or the safety device can be actuated by means of a common handle part. The invention further relates to a pipe cleaning machine, in particular a pipe cleaning machine having a drum, and to a method for operating a pipe cleaning machine.
Abstract:
A box for transporting and/or storing small parts, tools, machines or such objects comprises a body, a lid and a receiving space formed by the body and the lid. The body has a bottom and side walls surrounding the bottom. The lid is connected to the body. The receiving space contains at least one storage container for small parts, tools, machines or such objects. The receiving space comprises a flat section facing the storage container on one side thereof and a grid formed by a plurality of protrusions. The storage container is arranged on the flat section, in a position that secures against lateral movement, using at least one, preferably a plurality of the protrusions.
Abstract:
A suitcase for stacking with a further suitcase, comprising a contact surface for stacking the further suitcase, at least one coupling part which can be brought together with a matching coupling part of the further suitcase to form a plug-in connection, wherein the coupling part is aligned such that the plug-in connection to the matching coupling part is formed by displacing the further suitcase along the contact surface. At least one locking element is provided to secure the plug-in connection against being released, wherein the locking element can be displaced from an initial position to an intermediate or end position, and in the initial position is in a receiving region for the additional suitcase, which is used when placing the further suitcase on the contact surface. The invention further relates to an arrangement comprising at least two suitcases stacked one above the other and a method for stacking at least two suitcases.
Abstract:
A coupling for connecting a driving device to an expander head configured to expand pipes and hoses and to be actuated via an expanding mandrel driven by the driving device includes a first coupling part associated with the driving device and a second coupling part associated with the expander head. The first coupling part includes a through-hole that acts as a passage for the expanding mandrel and radially outwardly projecting circumferential portions disposed at a circumference, a rear face of the circumferential portions including at least one contact face. When connected, the coupling parts are disposed along an axis along which the expanding mandrel is movable for the actuation of the expander head. The second coupling part includes at least one counter-portion configured to act on a respective one of the at least one contact face of the circumferential portions.

In addition or as an alternative, provision is made for the adjustment mechanism to have a threaded spindle which can be manually operated and/or can be operated by an auxiliary force and which is in detachable threaded engagement with a threaded part, wherein the threaded part is, in the axial direction of the threaded spindle, held fixed in position in relation to the base part on a component of the holding apparatus, in particular on the base part. The invention further comprises an apparatus for machining a workpiece which has a round and/or tubular cross section, the apparatus containing a holding apparatus for the workpiece.

Abstract:
A device for expanding a hollow body includes a plurality of sector-shaped expandable jaws disposed in a holder and distributed about a central axis: The expandable jaws extend along the axis to a free end and are radially movable with respect to the axis. Each of the expandable jaws includes: a cylindrical surface having a radius corresponding to a radius of the expanded hollow body and an inward radial taper at an area of the free end; and a plurality of projections and recesses disposed in a joint region and arranged in an alternating manner with each other along the axis and at least partially extending into the area of the free end. The cylindrical surfaces are rounded off to transition to respective outer surfaces of the projections. The outer surfaces of the projections extend, at least at ends of the projections, radially inward with respect the cylindrical surfaces.
