    Abstract: An electrostatic sprayer operable at high flow rates and low pressures particularly suitable for spray drying. The sprayer includes an elongated body having a downstream spray nozzle assembly through which electrically charged liquid is directed via a central feed tube within the nozzle body and atomizing air is supplied via an annular passage about the liquid feed tube. In one embodiment, the nozzle assembly is an external mix cluster head spray nozzle assembly having a plurality of circumferentially spaced metallic spray tips. In another embodiment, the spray nozzle is an internal mix nozzle assembly having a spray tip with an internal mixing chamber for atomizing liquid prior to discharge.

    Abstract: The present disclosure involves designs for a fluid channel assembly that allow for a high entrainment ratio while also sustaining a high fluid mass flow rate through the assembly. The fluid channel assembly includes a first fluid passage and a second fluid passage, where the first and second fluid passages are arranged such that fluid from the second fluid passage is entrained in fluid from the first fluid passage. Fluid passes through at least a portion of the first fluid passage in a form of a plurality of first fluid streams.

    Abstract: The invention provides an analytic nebuliser device for delivering a sample in aerosolised form, the device comprising a nebuliser nozzle configured to receive a flow of said sample and generate a plume of aerosolised sample spray and a chamber configured to receive a flow of make-up gas and connecting with a plurality of microchannels having outlets arranged around and adjacent to said nebuliser nozzle wherein the microchannels are configured to produce a make-up gas stream with high linear velocity around said aerosolised sample spray to shape and direct said plume. The invention extends to a mass spectrometry or spectroscopy system including the above analytic nebuliser device, to provide in operation the aerosolised sample spray to an ionisation device of the system.

    Abstract: Proposed is an air mixing nozzle tip structure which improves productivity while simplifying the structure by being configured so that air is introduced through an air mixing inlet and discharged together with wash water, improves cleaning power while realizing a massage effect because fine water droplets are formed in the process that wash water and air are combined and discharged, controls the inlet amount of air by forming the air mixing inlet on one side or each of opposite sides of a nozzle tip cover or by adjusting the cross-sectional size of the air mixing inlet, and promotes product stability by providing an air supply passage at the rear of the air mixing inlet so that the air introduced through the air mixing inlet is smoothly discharged to a wash water ejection hole through an air guide.
