Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive multiple transport blocks (TBs) representing an application data unit (ADU) from a base station. The base station may transmit an indication that the UE is to provide ADU level feedback. The UE may determine the ADU level feedback based on whether the ADU is successfully received and decoded or not. The UE may indicate the ADU level feedback for the TBs to the base station. The base station and the UE may communicate according to the ADU level feedback.

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a first wireless communication node for transmitting a data signal that is sent to a second wireless communication node by skywave propagation over at least two different data transmission paths. The first data transmission path includes at least one reflection point where the data signal is reflected by the atmosphere and the second data transmission path includes more reflection points than the first data transmission path. The data signal that travelled along the first data transmission path is decoded before the data signal that travelled along the second data transmission path.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method, apparatus and system for configuring control channels in a mobile communication network and a mobile station. In order to suggest another improved scheme for configuring control channels, in particular control channels related to the transmission of user data the invention suggests aligning the size of the control channel information of different formats to an equal number of coded control channel information bits and/or modulation symbols for each control channel. The control channels may comprise scheduling related control information. According to another aspect of the invention, the size of the control channel information is aligned by means of modulation and/or coding, however the control channel information is aligned to one out of a set of numbers of coded control channel information bits and/or modulation symbols for each control channel.

Abstract: A method of transmission over multiple wireless channels in a multiple antenna system includes storing channel modulation matrices at a transmitter; receiving quantized channel state information at the transmitter from plural receivers; selecting a transmission modulation matrix using the quantized channel state information from the stored channel modulation matrices; and transmitting over the multiple channels to the plural receivers using the selected transmission modulation matrix. In another embodiment, the method includes storing, at one or more receivers, indexes of modulation matrices generated by a capacity enhancing algorithm; upon a selected one of the one or more receivers receiving a transmission from the transmitter, the selected receiver selecting a modulation matrix from the stored modulation matrices that optimizes transmission between the transmitter and the selected receiver; the selected receiver sending an index representing the selected modulation matrix; and receiving the index at the transmitter from the selected receiver.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the techniques described herein may enable information transfer via channel-adaptive space time block codes (STBCs) over reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs). For example, a network entity may transmit a control message indicating a set of parameters associated with an STBC of multiple STBCs associated with a RIS, where the set of parameters includes a size of the STBC. The network entity may transmit, to the RIS, a downlink message and the RIS may encode one or more information bits on the downlink message according to the parameters associated with the STBC. Additionally, the RIS may reflect the downlink message to a UE based on the set of parameters, where the reflected message includes the one or more information bits, and the UE may identify the one or more information bits based on a detection procedure associated with the set of parameters.
