A terminal transmits control information to a base station by using a periodically allocated dedicated channel. In further detail, the terminal checks control information that needs to be transmitted, detects a priority of the checked control information, and selects control information to be transmitted to the base station based on the detected priority. The terminal forms a PDU by multiplexing the selected control information, and transmits the PDU to the base station.

Provided is a wireless multi-carrier code division multiplexing communication apparatus that may transmit data using a transmit diversity scheme. A transmission apparatus may include: a space-time coding unit (340) to perform space-time encoding of transmission data to generate a plurality of data streams: a radio resource code generation unit(320) to generate a radio resource code vector by referring to radio resource allocation information associated with a reception apparatus; a signal generation unit (350) to generate a plurality of code division multiplexing signals corresponding to a plurality of transmit antennas (370) respectively, by muiltiplying the radio oplurality of code division multiplexing signals to the reception apparatus via the plurality of transmit antennas. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively transmit data using a transmit diversity scheme in a wireless multi-carrier code division multiplexing communication system.

A transmission apparatus for a broadcast service according to the present invention comprises: a sync layer (SL) packetizer which receives a basic layer elementary stream and an enhanced layer elementary stream and generates SL packets for each stream; a packetized elementary stream (PES) packetizer which converts each of the SL packets into PES packets; a first TS multiplexer unit which multiplexes the PES packets and outputs a basic layer transport stream; and a second TS multiplexer unit which multiplexes the PES packets, and outputs an enhanced layer transport stream, wherein said second TS multiplexer unit inserts, into the enhanced layer transport stream, a descriptor containing information on whether or not the enhanced layer transport stream is dependent on the basic layer transport stream.

The present invention relates to a method for allocating a frequency domain spread code in a base station of a multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) communication system. A code allocation priority is established based on interference between previously allocated spread codes and a newly allocated spread code so as to minimize the interference caused by channel fading or a synchronization error according to a transmitting or receiving timing offset when a scheduler of the base station in the MC-CDMA communication system allocates a subcarrier group to the plurality of user terminals or channels, and the spread code is allocated to the plurality of user terminals or channels according to the established priority, by the scheduler of the base station.

The present invention provides a device and method for transmitting a relay synchronization signal on an LTE-A system based on orthogonal frequency division having a multi-hop relay. In one example of the present invention, the device for transmitting a relay synchronization signal employs a synchronization signal for synchronization between a relay and a base station, and for synchronising one relay and a lower relay, and also for synchronization with a terminal for the purpose of having one relay monitor a neighbouring base station or relay; the synchronization signal being employed in such a way as to generate a relay synchronization signal having low correlation properties and having the same PAPR characteristics as the synchronization signal, and also to generate a frame comprising a relay synchronization signal.

Provided is a multi-view video coding/decoding method and apparatus which uses coded and decoded multi-view videos to code and decode depth information videos corresponding to the multi-view videos. The multi-view video coding method includes: controlling the scales of first and second depth information videos corresponding to a multi-view video such that the scales are equalized; and coding the second depth information video, of which the scale is controlled, by referring to the first depth information video of which the scale is controlled.
