Phenyl-containing organopolysiloxane fluids of the formula, wherein Ph is phenyl, r is hydrogen, trimethylsilyl or mixtures thereof and wherein x and y have a value sufficient to provide a phenyl content of from about 7 weight percent to about 80 weight percent as shown. These fluids function as internal mold release additives for thermoplastic polycarbonates.
