An access network selection procedure is performed for one or more access candidates of the second network, sequentially performing for the access candidates of the second network connection establishing attempts to one or more access candidates, by selecting a new access candidate from said one or more access candidates, and performing connection establishing attempts to said access candidate until a connection to the access candidate is established or a stop criterion for said access candidate is fulfilled.
