In some instances, a method for treating a vessel of a patient includes collecting intravascular ultrasound imaging data of the placement of the stent using the intravascular ultrasound imaging device, estimating, using a processing device, a restenosis probability value based on the intravascular ultrasound imaging data of the placement of the stent and communicating the estimated restenosis probability value to a clinician.
