Abstract:
Disclosed is a supported catalyst and methods to prepare and use the supported catalyst in an oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) reaction. The supported catalyst can contain MnWO4 or MnWO4 nanostructures that are in contact with the surface of a sodium containing silicon dioxide support material. The supported MnWO4 catalyst can have an active MnWO4 crystal phase.
