Abstract: A cosmetic composition containing the moisturizing complex is provided to prevent and improve symptoms of skin caused by water deficiency by containing a lot of water in the skin stratum corneum, reduce water evaporation from the skin stratum corneum, so that the composition is useful for moisturizing the skin. Abstract: PURPOSE: A detergent composition obtained by mixing basic amino acid and fatty acid and then saponifying is provided. Therefore, it causes no skin problems, is excellent in detergency and skin compatibility and can be generally applied to the sensitive skin, dry skin and infant skin without anxiety. CONSTITUTION: To produce a detergent composition, 0.5 to 30 parts by weight of fatty acid is blended with 100 parts by weight of distilled water at 70deg.C, added with 0.5 to 20 parts by weight of basic amino acid and then saponified. The basic amino acid is one of lysine, histidine, arginine and L-arginine and the fatty acid is lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid and the like.
