Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a device and a method to provide an exercise service in an electronic device. According to the present invention, the electronic device comprises: a communication module; a memory to store a plurality of algorithms for analyzing user activities; and a processor. The processor: acquires activity schedule information associated with user activity; selects at least one recognition algorithm from the plurality of recognition algorithms at least based on the activity schedule information; and uses the at least one recognition algorithm to analyze the activity information associated with the user activity, so as to provide activity guide information associated with the user activity.
