Abstract: PURPOSE: A testing apparatus and a method using an MRCU-LAN in a testing system of equipment are provided to be easily adapted to a system using a stream type socket interface and distribute a downloading load of a work station by facilitating repeatedly monitoring and downloading an operation state of a testing-target equipment in a development stage wanting an operation state testing by using an MRCU-LAN serial interface and an Ethernet interface. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of testing-target equipment(32) are respectively connected through an RS-232C interface to an MRCU-LAN(31). The MRCU-LAN(31) is connected through the RS-232C interface to the plurality of testing-target equipment(32) and connected to networks(21-29) constructed for testing the equipment through a TCP/IP interface.
