Abstract: A culture medium additive for artificial skin is provided to promote cell differentiation during artificial skin culture and formation of basement membrane. A culture medium additive for culturing artificial skin comprises peptide which contains KGRKR amino acid sequence. The artificial skin is dermis comprising collagen substrate and fibroblast. The artificial skin comprises dermis substitute containing collagen substrate and fibroblast or keratinocyte which is cultured on the dermis. When the artificial skin is cultured, the peptide comprising KGRKR amino acid sequence is added in the culture medium.

Abstract: A mixture material is provided to secure more preferable characteristics as a raw material for cosmetic by showing excellent stability, low toxicity, low irritability and good releasing property. A mixture material is characterized in that a skin whitening agent such as 4-n-butylresorcinol, 4-cyclopentylresorcinol, indole-3-acetic acid and retinol is included in a meso-porous inorganic structure made of SiO2 or TiO2. A method for preparing the mixture material comprises a step of absorbing the skin whitening agent into pores of the meso-porous inorganic structure by mixing the mesoporous inorganic structure with a solution of the skin whitening agent. A cosmetic comprises the mixture material.

Abstract: An artificial skin containing mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to result in excellent effects similar to original skin when it is used for skin transplantation. An artificial skin comprises: a dermis counterpart containing fibroblasts and mesenchymal cells on collagen matrix; and keratinocytes which are cultured on the dermis counterpart. A method for manufacturing the artificial skin includes the steps of: preparing the dermis counterpart by adding fibroblasts and mesenchymal cells on collagen matrix; and inoculating and cultivating keratinocytes on the prepared the dermis counterpart.
