Abstract: An electrode catalyst for a fuel cell, its preparation method, and a fuel cell containing the electrode catalyst are provided to improve hydrogen oxidation activity and carbon monoxide resistance. An electrode catalyst for a fuel cell comprises the palladium composite supported by a carbide compound in which an oxide coating is formed. The carbide compound is represented by MiCj, and the oxide coating is a coating comprising a compound represented by MxOy, wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of W, Si, Mo, Ti, Nb, Ta, Sn, Al, Ir, Zn, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Ru; 1

Abstract translation: 提供燃料电池用电极催化剂及其制备方法以及含有电极催化剂的燃料电池，以提高氢氧化活性和耐一氧化碳性。 用于燃料电池的电极催化剂包括由其中形成氧化物涂层的碳化物化合物负载的钯复合物。 碳化物由MiCj表示，氧化物涂层为包含由M x O y表示的化合物的涂层，其中M为选自W，Si，Mo，Ti，Nb，Ta，Sn，Al中的至少一种元素 ，Ir，Zn，Cr，Mn，Fe，Co，Ni，Cu和Ru; 1 <= I <= 3; 1 <= j的<= 3; 1 <= X <= 3; 和1 <= y <= 3。
