Abstract: PURPOSE: A current compensating method is provided to reduce a speed ripple by converting the estimated load torque component into a compensating current and adding the compensating current to a driving current component. CONSTITUTION: A current compensating method comprises a step of estimating, in a real time basis, the eccentric load torque which gives influences to a speed ripple so as to the remove the speed ripple generated from the eccentric load, by applying an eccentric load torque estimator and a torque-current converter to the vector control algorithm of a permanent synchronous motor adopting the maximum torque control system per unit current; and a step of converting the estimated eccentric load torque component into a compensating current of sine wave, and adding the compensating current to a driving current component.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A direct drive type gantry is provided to prevent noise caused due to the decelerator or chain, while shortening time for extracting image and obtaining high definition image. CONSTITUTION: A direct drive type gantry(100) comprises a frame(101) for supporting devices for obtaining image information; a stator(102) constituting a synchronous motor, and which is installed to the frame and has a plurality of coils arranged at the inner periphery of the stator so as to form a magnetic field; a rotor(103) constituting the synchronous motor together with the stator, and which is mounted in the stator, and has a plurality of permanent magnets arranged along the outer periphery of the rotor, and devices for obtaining image information arranged along the inner periphery of the rotor; and a control unit(104) electrically connected to the synchronous motor, and which controls speed of the rotor and transmits position of an X-ray tube.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A speed control apparatus is provided to reduce a speed ripple by adding the compensation current which is applied in accordance with the size and phase of the eccentric load to the driving current component. CONSTITUTION: A speed control apparatus comprises AC/DC converters(301,302) for converting the AC current for two phases from among the three-phase current being applied to the motor; a three phase-two phase coordinate transformation unit(303) for transforming the converted DC current into two-phase current of d and q axes; a speed detection unit(304) for detecting speed of the motor; a proportional integral controller(305) for performing a proportional integral control for the variation between the reference speed and the detected speed; a limiter(306) for restricting the amplitude with respect to the input waveform; a control current compensation unit(309) for compensating the control current being input to the motor; a voltage command compensation unit(310) for compensating the voltage command being input to the motor; a two phase-three phase coordinate inverse transformation unit(311) for transforming two-phase voltages of d and q axes into three-phase voltages; a pulse width modulation unit(312) for modulating and outputting pulse widths of three-phase voltages; an inverter(313) for controlling operation of the motor by performing on/off control operations with respect to the three-phase voltage input to the motor; and an eccentric load torque estimator(307) interposed between the limiter and the control current compensation unit, and which receives the current from among the two-phase currents transformed by the three phase-two phase coordinate transformation unit and the speed of the motor detected by the speed detection unit, estimates a torque in accordance with the eccentric load, and outputs the estimated value.
