Abstract:
A method for configuring an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) postal code, and an RFID postal processing method and system using the same are provided to configure a code system of tag data information to process RFID postal matters and configure the code system linkable with other logistics or code systems by standardization. An RFID tag generator generates an RFID tag(110) including the postal code configured by information of the postal matter if the postal matter to be delivered is received. A postal matter processor identifies a service type from the postal code by reading the RFID tag attached to the postal matter and processes the postal matter by confirming tag data of the identified service type. A database(130) stores identification results and information for the postal matter. The RFID tag processor transmits electric tag identification wave for the identified result through the Internet(140). The postal code comprises a class code of 8 bits for identifying the service type of the postal matter and a body code within 120 bits corresponding to the tag data of the service type according to a class code value.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for making postal logistics codes using an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentifier) are provided to recognize, collect, store postal information based on an RFID tag attached to a postal matter, so that postal matters are distributed and delivered effectively. An apparatus for making postal logistics codes includes a header part(100), a postal logistics code part(200), and an application data part(300). The header part is assigned with an IAC(Issuing Agency Code) and an AFI(Application Family Identifier). The IAC is used to determine the origin of a tag. The AFI is used to identify a tag family. The postal logistics code part is assigned such that the service type of a postal matter and data information on the service type are read out. The application data part encodes information on the structure of application data related to the postal matter, information on the length of the postal matter, and the information on the application data.
