Abstract:
PURPOSE: An aria encryption apparatus and a method thereof are provided to efficiently use an aria encryption algorithm by calculating the output of a masking S-box. CONSTITUTION: A controller(110) entirely controls the drive of aria encryption devices(100). The controller generates a masked random number. A round key generating section(120) generates a round key by using an inputted cryptographic key. A masking section(130) generates masked input data by using inputted data and the masked random number generated in the controller. An erasable programmable read-only memory(140) stores a table used for calculating the output of a S-box. An operational sequence generating unit(150) randomly generates an operational sequence for executing key addition. A key edition section(160) calculates an input value masked based on a generated operational sequence and a masked round key value. A S-box operation section(170) calculates the output of the S-box.

PURPOSE: A navigator and a method for an anti-theft navigator using a smart key are provided to output an alarm outside and interrupt the operation of navigator when authentication through the smart key is failed. CONSTITUTION: A navigator and a method for an anti-theft navigator using a smart key are comprised of the steps: detecting a smart key(10) having contactless smart chip therein through a navigator(10); authorizing the smart key using the registered serial number of a smart key; and interrupting navigator while outputting an alarm outside when the authorization is failed.

PURPOSE: A mileage displaying smart card, a payment terminal and a payment method using the mileage displaying smart card are provided to confirm and use a point and mileage in real time, thereby activating use of the mileage. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit(110) transmits/receives mileage payment information to a payment terminal. A displaying unit(140) displays the mileage payment information including remaining mileage information. A memory(130) stores a user ID and the remaining mileage information. A controlling unit(150) outputs the remaining mileage information of the memory and the mileage payment information received from the server to the displaying unit. The controlling unit transmits mileage payment request information which the user ID and the remaining mileage information are included to the payment terminal. PURPOSE: A method for issuing an electronic identification card is provided to prevent information leak for an evil purpose by patching core code of personal information before the card issuing process. CONSTITUTION: An encryption key storage unit(310) stores an encryption key for certifying a core code patching right. An encryption key reader(320) reads the encryption key from the electronic identification card. The electronic identification card is masked as an OS ROM masking image in which the core code is excluded. If there is a core code patch right, a core code patch unit(340) patches the core code with an IC chip of the electronic identification card.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A smart card with the re-writable memory region of an operating system and an operating method thereof are provided to eliminate modification and reinstalling problems due to the failures of the operating system by masking the operating system based on the re-writing function of a memory. CONSTITUTION: A loading program(31) for calling and implementing an operating system is stored in a read only memory. An operating system, which is loaded by the loading program of the read only memory, is stored in an electrically erasable and programmable read only memory(EEPROM)(40). The EEPROM is formed to re-write the operating system. The EEPROM includes a divided storage units(41) corresponding to the number of operating systems.

PURPOSE: An electronic passport system for using OTP capable of protecting the privacy of individual by preventing the information reveal of the electronic passport is provided to prevent the copy of the electric passport according to the illegal use of personal information of the electric passport. CONSTITUTION: An electronic passport issuing agency(20) issues personal information data of an electronic passport owner. A reading system(30) produces a secret key by the OTP(One Time Password) value of an electronic passport(10). The reading system communicates with the electronic passport. An electronic passport OTP authentication server(40) authenticates the electronic passport by the comparison of the electronic passport OTP login information and the OTP value.
