    Abstract: A piercing punch unit is provided to increase working speed, and to prevent a piercing blade from being damaged in assembling and disassembling a piercing punch with a punch supporting unit in a punch block. An upper block(3) and a punch block(5) are installed in a piercing punch unit and press-fitted to a press die(1). An installation hole(7) is formed in the punch block, and a piercing punch(9) is fitted to the installation hole. A circular supporting groove(11) is formed in an outer periphery of the piercing punch, and a supporting ball(13) is formed in the punch block to apply elastic force to the supporting groove of the piercing punch fitted to the installation hole. A punch supporting unit is composed of a spring hole inclined to the installation hole and connected to the installation hole in the punch block, and a coil spring is inserted to the spring hole.

    Abstract: Burr measuring equipment is provided to prevent failures during TWB(Tailor Welded Blank) welding by measuring a burr generated at a cut part of a steel plate without using a microscope. Burr measuring equipment includes a gauge(70) and a switch unit(85). The gauge moves down by vertical length of a burr according to the weight of a steel plate when a cut part of the steel plate with the burr is received on a receiving surface(75). The switch unit, a touch sensor, is mounted at one side of the gauge to output an electrical signal when being in contact with a reference surface. An elastic member(73) is connected to the bottom of the gauge to provide predetermined elastic force. The gauge is elastically returned to the initial position by the elastic member when load applied to the gauge is removed.
