    Abstract: The present invention provides a resin composition for a fiber-reinforced plastic, the resin composition including a cyanate ester (A), an epoxy resin (B), and an aromatic amine-based curing agent that is liquid at 25° C. (C), wherein the average number of cyanate groups in the cyanate ester (A) is 2.1 or greater, and/or the average number of epoxy groups in the epoxy resin (B) is 2.1 or greater. A fiber-reinforced plastic that is produced using this composition and a reinforcing fiber has favorable heat resistance and excellent tensile and bending properties, and therefore can be applied to a wide variety of fields including transport vehicles such as ships, automobiles, and aircrafts, sporting goods, building materials such as sinks and window frames, as well as industrial machinery and materials such as high-pressure gas tanks and blades for wind power generation.

    Abstract: A curing resin composition useful as an adhesive excellent in impact resistance, heat resistance, and water resistance is provided. The composition contains (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a blocked urethane, and (C) an amine latent curing agent. The blocked urethane (B) has a weight average molecular weight Mw of 15,000 to 38,000 and a ratio of weight average molecular weight Mw to number average molecular weight Mn, Mw/Mn, of 1.9 to 3.0. The epoxy resin (A) is preferably a bisphenol epoxy resin. The blocked urethane (B) preferably contains a blocked urethane having an oxybutylene group and a blocked urethane having an oxypropylene group.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a structural material-bonding adhesive capable of bonding materials other than iron, and maintaining the bonding ability in an environment at a high temperature and a low temperature, while maintaining performance similar to that of a structural material adhesive used as an adhesive for bonding iron materials. A curable resin composition contains an epoxy resin, blocked urethane, and an amine-based latent curing agent, wherein the blocked urethane is obtained by reacting a urethane polymer having a terminal isocyanate group with a blocking agent, the urethane polymer being obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate, a diol, and a branching agent containing at least three groups that react with an isocyanate group.
