Abstract:
In some embodiments, an electronic device presents indications of usage metrics for the device. In some embodiments, an electronic device sets, configures and/or enforces device usage limits. In some embodiments, an electronic device limits access to certain applications during certain periods of time. In some embodiments, an electronic device suppresses auxiliary functions of certain applications when an application usage limit or restriction criteria associated with those applications is reached. In some embodiments, an electronic device manages restriction settings with permission optionally provided by another electronic device.
Abstract:
A method is performed at a device with a touch-sensitive display including displaying a text region that includes a first portion of text and a second portion of text, detecting an input within the text region, in response to the detected input moving the first portion relative to the second portion of text to display a non-text region between the first and the second portions of text and converting a portion of the non-text region into a drawing panel provided to receive drawing input via the touch-sensitive display and display a corresponding graphic in response to receiving the drawing input. Another method is performed at a device with a touch-sensitive display, including displaying text, detecting, via the touch-sensitive display, a set of annotation inputs and displaying the annotation associated with a portion of text, receiving a request to rearrange the text, displaying a second arrangement of the text, displaying a second representation of the annotation proximate to the corresponding rearranged portion of text.
