    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To burn incombustible liquids economically by a method which is more compatible with the environment by mixing the incombustible liquid with a reactive gas, mixing a supplementary fuel with an inert gas, and vaporizing the incombustible liquid and the supplementary fuel prior to the contacting in a combustion space. SOLUTION: A combustion device has a combustion space 1, a nozzle 1 which feeds a mixture of an incombustible liquid and a reactive gas, a sprayer 15 for the incombustible liquid, a sprayer 16 for a liquid supplementary fuel, and an ignition burner 13. The combustion space 1 is thermally insulated, and is heated by the ignition burner 13. Then, the feeding of air is switched to the nozzle 14 which feeds the mixture of the incombustible liquid and the reactive gas, and under an flameless operation state, a natural gas for combustion is replaced with another fuel gas, a liquid fuel or a high energy liquid-form waste. In this case, the liquid fuel (supplementary fuel) is finely sprayed by an atomized gas.

    Abstract: In the proposed method of producing crystallised N-methylol-(meth)acrylamide from (meth)acrylamide and paraformaldehyde, the reaction of the solid reaction components to produce a molten product and subsequent crystallisation are carried out in a reactor vessel while mechanical shear stress is applied to the reaction mixture, preferably in a self-cleaning worm reactor or disc reactor. The reaction and crystallisation of the molten product take place preferably without any solvents being added. A catalyst, in particular an alkali carbonate or trialkyl amine, can be used for the reaction.
