One or more integrated circuits can be mounted onto the planar portion. Multiple leads extend from each integrated circuit, the leads electrically connected to the printhead body. One or more arms are attached to, and substantially perpendicular to, the planar portion, each arm including one or more external connectors configured to connect to the external circuit.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable recirculation assembly.
SOLUTION: The recirculation assembly 105 includes a main ink inflow part 130 configured to receive ink from an ink supply source; a main ink outflow part 135 configured to guide ink to the ink supply source; and a channel extending from the main ink inflow part to the main ink outflow part. The channel includes an inflow portion and an outflow portion. A pressure difference is formed across the inflow and outflow portions by a constrictor that separates both portions. The inflow portion is configured to move ink from the main inflow part to openings formed in the inflow portion, and the openings are configured to guide ink toward ink inflow channels for each of a large number of print head modules. The outflow portion is configured to move ink away from openings formed in the outflow portion toward the main ink outflow part, and the openings are configured to receive ink from ink outflow channels for each of the large number of print head modules.

In one embodiment, the droplet ejection module includes a liquid supply assembly, a housing and a droplet ejection body. The liquid supply assembly includes a self-contained liquid reservoir and a liquid outlet. The housing is configured to permanently connect to the liquid supply assembly and includes a liquid channel configured to receive a liquid from the liquid outlet of the liquid supply assembly and to deliver the liquid to a droplet ejection body. The droplet ejection body is permanently connected to the housing and includes one or more liquid inlets configured to receive liquid from the housing and one or more nozzles configured to selectively eject droplets.
